  • Same here, if I'm on vacation, I can't fucking sleep. I'll go to sleep between 3 - 4am, which in itself is not that bad, other than the fact that for school I have to wake up at 7am so it's gonna be a bitch trying to get back to falling asleep before 1am. I mean, I haven't gone to sleep before midgight - 1am for 3 years now. It's just embedded. And now that I always wake up around 11am, its gonna be a bitch trying to wake up 4 hours earlier. Who's sleep schedule is normal anymore?

  • Dude I have this problem like every summer... For me there's really no fixing it lol, the only thing that does is doing something that required me to wake up and stay awake, for instance school. Idk how old you are, but in the summer I'd recommend replacing school with a job, or something to keep you relatively occupied during the day - cuz who doesn't love extra cash?? As for me, now I go to school all year round with college, so I don't have this problem now :)

    As for tips, I don't really have any. Except taking sleeping meds. But that's all the usually helps me. I mean, it's 4 AM right now. So yeah.

  • Bro get some exercise. Run around at a park for an hour or play some basketball or something. Then when you go to bed have a night cap. (shot of whiskey or whatever). Also, don't play video games for at least 2 hours before you go to bed, they keep your brain active and alert. Hope this helps.

  • I ususally went to bed around 9 when I was younger but ever since I hit my first growth spurt, I don't get sleepy till 11 or later. And my parents wake me up because I sleep from 12-15 hours a day.btw just practice getting up early 2 days before school starts.

  • You could try all natural sleeping pills, I got insomnia and I've had it since gr 8 and I'm currently in 11, I can't stay asleep for very long or even sleep sometimes and Fall asleep at like 3 pm next day or later/earlier, they do help and put you out in bout half an hour, I tried and I started sleeping better, it may take a few days or a week to fix your pattern but it should work

  • Try stay awake for a full 24 hours till it's around 9 or whenever you go to sleep, you'll be so tired you'll sleep whether you want or not and your schedule will get back to normal. :DD

  • if you want it back on schedule, dont eat for 12 hours, your body runs on energy rom food so your sleep "clock" is connected to your food "clock", basically what youll be doing is pressing the manual reset on your sleeping pattern where you will make up at like 6-7 AM and go to bed at 9-10 PM, so dont eat while youre awake and drink water to kill your appetite. so you dont feel hungry, if you piss a lot its cleaning your body so dont worry about the water. JUST DONT EAT FOR 12 hours.

I have a rather weird job-schedule making me sometimes have to come in to work at 7am, other times at 4pm, so the thing I do to keep my sleep pattern in check is actually forcing myself awake until a set sleep time. This occasionally means passing sleep for 24hrs, but the end result is reliable sleep.

  • It's simple, set an alarm? That's how I keep my schedule in line. Been waking up at 7am every day, no matter what time I fall asleep. Try going to bed at 10pm (I know I sound geeky) and waking up early, you will feel really refreshed.
