at first i was repulsed at seeing the borg queen....... but after seeing susanna thompson's interviews (as a normal person), i must say that she's rather beautiful!

It is quite strange that when we see the queen getting disintegrated, that scene came from the movie "First Contact" when Captain Picard and Data destroy her. But then years later, in perfect condition, she is killed by Captain Janeway.

remember it was an alternate janeway that set that up the time line was changed in some way so technically the event never happened but it did to change one timeline to fix the other it hard to explain but it has to do with paralell timelines

the older dies the junger lives. if your older one dies you live because the older isn´t linked to the younger one. the other way_ your younger one dies so your older dies ,too.

the first queen died when data smashed the thing near the warp core in FC, the fog destroyed the flesh part of her, picard snapped her mech neck. It was unclear to me if the 2nd queen was actually the 1st or not, not the same actress but she died of a "nuerlitic pathogen" that she got when assimilating elderly janeway... I knew Janeway had something lololl

I guess it's because the Borg are known to adapt, so I think that the Borg queen has adapted with death. :-)

i just realized if the future janeway was destroyed along with her shuttle on the borg queens palace doesn't that mean the borg's thirty year weaponry was destroyed as well
