  • I liked this back in 83' as the band sounded diff. than typical groups due to not being from usa , one reason. This was a good take, he looks & sounds good .No clue what he did after Krokus. honestly, Accept should'veasked him to join after UDO split. He has that "diff. " tone like UDO & a pretty good metal voice + proven hits.Maybe, he was asked & said, no....

  • I really wish this was on itunes

  • im just blown away on how marc sounds...

  • wow!! never got to see krokus, but own a lot of their cds. listened to them alot in the eighties. would love to see some kind of tour, they obviously still got it!

  • Rocked your music in my teens, and find this now! Wow just sat and listened, still got it!

  • watched ten more times wow the vocals kick ass I love this made me buy the Head hunter cd I had it on cassette does anyone remember them lol

  • I have watched this fifty times since I found this more artists should respond to our comments you guys need to make some new music your voice is trully exceptional

  • I saw them open for ted nugent ,and blackfoot in 1981 baltimore civic center got front row tickets the night of the show they all rocked Krokus was unknown they blew me away really want to see them again

  • @MultiMetalgod HA, that's kicks ass I saw that same show but in Dallas

  • Jesus I am impressed!

  • Not to take anything away from Brian Johnson, ACDC went on to make some terrific music but Marc should have been the replacement for Bon. He is like Bon reincarnated with better control! Dare I say? Hmmm.... I mean no harm. You ROCK Marc!!! Thanks for keeping us old guys rocking away!!! Come tour AMERICA!!! PLEASE!!! More rocking songs like In My Blood!!!!!

  • @EFLRR96 never made that connection, smart bro.

  • Love it !

  • so awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Absolutely incredible. I listen to this unplugged version time and again, and am ready to listen again. I saw Krokus in the '80's and loved 'em. But this is impressive! Gives me the chills!

  • Hey Rockers...thanks for all your nice comments !

A video from a cool "jam" with my old buddies Tony Castell (left)and Dominic Favez (right) recorded during a Film-Fest in Solothurn, Switzerland, the birthplace of KROKUS

Tony plays Bass & Dom Rythym Guitar on the KROKUS *HELLRAISER* Album of 2006. We toured extensively around Europe etc...more Stories on the Krokus Website.

KROKUS will record a new album in 2012.

*LOUDPARK FESTIVAL* in Tokyo, Japa - October 15th, 2011...

    Rock On, Marc ;-)))

  • Love that they still rock it in the original tuning and don't drop it.

  • Absolutely GRRRRREEEAAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The dude playing guitar on the left (to Marc's left) - is he the brother or son of Marc? They look similar....

  • Just Incredable Marc Storace great vocalist always wished it was he and not brian johnston that replaced bon scott but it was not to be.

  • BRAVO!!

  • AWESOME!

  • This is "AWESOME", thank you for sharing.

  • Slaaaaaayyyyyyereeerrrttrrr

  • Itz itz itz the shits... Class of 89... STONERS RULE... SLAYERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

  • Holy Crap......his voice is fully intact.

Pretty amazing considering how hard he worked it for all this time.

    Sounds pretty good.

  • @Icepacalapse Absolutely! He is one in a million! So many others worked outside of their range and trashed their voices, Marc didn't! He has an incredibly strong voice!

  • great music, great Krokus! Great Marc Storace!!!! thanks for sharing

  • OUTSTANDING WHAT A VOCALIST

  • thnx for this vid nice all around

  • Damn - high school flashback for me, too. That first US release was the high point, but they went downhill afterwards, IMO - tried to be more "pop-like", like the LA scene. Shoulda stuck with the Headhunter-esque formula.

    Still an awesome band, though.

  • Ez óriási, micsoda hang!!!

  • They pulled that off acoustic very well!

  • i think he forgot the words

  • @msfattytrollbitch ha thats funny

  • A true masterpiece.

  • Nicely done....

  • Storace's voice is still awesome

  • @d33f4wl7 I do agree fully!

  • STORACE ROCKS! CRIMINALLY UNSUNG & UNDERRATED BAND!

  • wow this version sounds hilarious ha ha ha. the crowd was out in the rain? dont you mean the gates was gettin rusty lol cool song still

  • I toured for 16 years with a band out of the 80s all across the country an we played with bands that our sound guy would have the singers mic turned off.Funny as it may sound now one of them is on VH1 with his own show. This is great by a very underated 80s band.

  • In 2005, a VERY famous band came to town, 2 live monitor feeds were ran hot to a soundproof glass room behind the stage. 2 studio musicans sat inside the glass box watching a TV monitor of the show happening in front of them. As the famous guitarist and bass player played to a filled arena of fans, the 2 studio musicans in the glass box played their guitar parts for them. This is true. I have see this kind of stuff for so long. Thats why Krokus gets a big thumbs UP from me. Keeping it real

  • @kendallguitarist who was the very famous band???

  • After all these years he can still hit the notes at 95-97%. Sense about '89, things have changed. More bands than ever are looping their live sound. Def Lep. (for example) loops their outfront sound by 12 and their monitors by 6. Its great to see someone that still has the pitch when most vocalist (for even 2000-2005) cant even hit a solid C or D. Givin his age and former roadlife, i think he is at the top of his game! Great band, great video.

  • It's Marc STORACE on vocals !!!!!

  • Joe Peshe on vocals.....

  • Like it very much!

  • To hear this song live in 1983 was awesome. Sometimes memories are so perfect that you don't dare try to reproduce them for fear they might be as good the second time around. Ya know?

  • actually i dislike it very much, watch it alot because he's so washed up, and fishman, i play guitar, drums, bass, i sing, i play piano, what do you do? Oh and i don't have any videos, i'm new to youtube bro, why don't you show some real talent, an i'll answer back bro, you have my word man!

  • A quarter of a century later, give or take a couple of years, and they can still sing that like the recording. That just shows true talent.

  • Here he looks and sounds like Monk trying to sing the song

  • JimmyJames you are obviously without any musical talent yourself as they say it takes one to know one.

  • This is hilarious, no good at all. has anyone noticed how his guitarist starts laughing at 45 or 46 seconds haha, this dude is the most washed up musician i have ever seen hahahaha!!!

  • @JimmyJames582 I noticed the smile too. I don't think he was laughing, just having a good time. These guys rock! They are a Heavy Metal band. They will sound a bit different unplugged. I liked the difference. Both of these guys are incredible guitarists!

I went to your channel to see what a musician who isn't "washed up" sounds like and couldn't find your videos... I did see you "liked" this video 4 times after the comment though... go figure. Cheers!

  • @JimmyJames582 You need to clean out your ears...this man has an incredible voice and presence . He is an example of what metal is and should be.

  • This is one of those "gives you goosebumps" moments! Awesome!! Love these guys from back in the day...still love them today!!!

  • Kick ass ! And he doesnt sound like a moaning dying monotone cow aka pearl jam and the rest of the lot ! LOL

  • Beautiful!!!! Thanks for sharing! God Bless Krokus!!! Carry On!!!

  • awesome!

  • hahahaaa that is just horrible!!!

  • Ahhhh man....this is to cool....can't believe its taken me so long to really use youtube to find the oldies but goodies...lol...fan tast ic....yes!

  • FUCKING AWSOME!!!!!!!

  • i never hit replay on any video. this is amazing awesome memories and replay

  • I have always loved this song... who knew it could be so amazing all these years later! And acoustic to boot is great!

  • Guys...I love this...Our Love is my favorite. Great Vocals, great playing...Love it

  • He's still got it, but where's the AutotuneTM?

  • @zenveg Where's the autotune? Busy making pop-stars and rap-stars!

    LOL!

If anybody would have tried using that crap back in the day, they'd have been called poser & false metal... and Man0waR would have shown up and killed them.

    LOL!

  • This is amazing!! I love these guys and still roll the windows down and jam them at 45 !!

  • soundz great :)

  • He still belts it out ..... damn

  • Excellent display of non produced skills,RAW and great!!!!!!!!!!!

  • great sound, but he seems to have forgotten some of the lyrics...

  • awesome

  • Man, Switzerlands finest just like their chocolate only gets sweeter with age. Marc Storace sounds fantastic on vocals.

  • No offense. I love Krokus. He reminds me of Joe Pesci. And that's a GOOD THING!

  • Superb!

  • I've heard every Krokus album they have, and I know he sounds like Bon Scott. AGAIN, my question is did AC/DC just up and offer him the job without auditioning, or did he audition, then refuse the job? It would be stupid to audition for them and then say no. If he said no because he wanted to stay in Krokus, that would explain everything.

  • @stellastarr69 Agree with all of you re: Bon's voice double but he NEVER got an offer & there's no certainty he even auditioned. The whole process took months & bottom line with AC/DC was that if Malcolm & Angus hadn't seen or heard you before you had no hope. They ran into Brian Johnson late '70's at a Geordie gig & remebered him when he was invited to audition some 3 months after the process. it all clicked from there - there was never any offer to anyone else.

  • Too bad that more of their stuff wasn't this good. That was a killer tune.

  • his voice has lasted better than brian johnsons of dc makes you wonder what would of happened if he had took the dc job..love brian but bon rules..

  • I read on Wikipedia that AC/DC offered Marc Storace of Krokus the job to be lead singer after Bon Scott died but he turned it down. He said he thought Krokus had a future ahead of them and he was his own singer, not a Bon sound alike. My question is did AC/DC come to him and offer him the job, or did Marc audition for them? Why audition and then turn the job down?

  • @stellastarr69 why did AC/DC offer him to sing after Bon Scott died? just listen to him sing, pick up some Krokus albums !

nobody on this planet sounds closer to Bon Scott than Marc Storace

  • You make Malta proud Marc!

  • What a kick ass video......thanx

  • This was from a Prom they played at.

  • Man I smoked alot of joints to this joint

  • WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW

    still he got that voice

    AMAZING

    \m/\m/

  • Fantastic glad he aint lost it, awesome vocalist loved 'em since i first heard 'em in the early 80's.

  • man...I love these guys...still got it!

  • Hey this is really good!

  • Jo Krokus ist auch am 21.05.2010 auf der Hessen Bike Week LIVE zu sehen.

  • AWESOME VIDEO! Thanks for posting it.

  • jkoruty...I was implying the dude on tour with Journey looks and sounds like steve...marc was better not replacing bon so he gave brian and himself a chance to make their own mark on music...

  • wow...ive never been a big krokus fan but i gotta say storace is amazing!! i mean after all these years damn impressive vocals, very nice to hear pretty much the opposite of what marc slaughter has left in the tank and what 15 years older thumbs up

  • HAHA the two playing guitars are not in the original band - they are too young, but Marc Storace (the singer) is like 50 or maybe close to 60, he goes back a long way, being in bands as early as the late 1960's. he was actually offered to be the lead singer of AC/DC after Bon died, but turned it down. He sounds great even today!

  • @stevemo1967 They are the original guitarists

  • Sorry, that is definitely NOT Fernando Von Arb.

  • @youcrayzee That's Acustical Mountain one of the Guitarist is Claudio Matteo from CHINA.

  • Hell Yeah!!Love this version.I always wished for a acoustic version!!

  • EPIC

  • This song is proof of the talent they had back in the day. When I was in high school this tune was one of the big couple skates. It was so good even the kids that were not big metal fans liked to skate to this one. A good groove and hook with amazing lyrics. loved my 80s metal tunes.

  • @brokl26 what kinda metal head goes skating?

  • Dude crushes that song after all these years. Love it !!!!

  • Nice! Standing Ovation from me!!

  • Great vocals!!

  • AWESOME... back in the day... reminds of high school...

  • unreal still a class act!

  • yo how old are they?? like 50 or so right??

  • yeah around there,..probably close to their 60's

  • he can sing

  • Last time I heard this song was on the gladtor with Ken wahl. rock on been coons ages,

  • These guys still rock!!!

  • he still has his afro holy shit lol

never the less they are amazing i just got into em i am 16

and these are the bands i like

    maiden

    van canto

    judas priest

    the who

    krokus

    manowar

  • Hey I like your musical tastes...But who the hell are van canto?! !? eheheh

    Do you know riot, y&t...

  • The guys sounds great as always. Good Band.

  • Omg.. A pity that in Brazil Krokus don't make the true sucess they are...

    Thank you so much guys!

  • Nice Work!! still proud to call you guys one of my favorite band of all time!! Thank you for keepin me rockin all these years!!

  • amazing!

  • just proves you can get old and still rock ty for the vid grate song

  • peggy170 (1 month ago)

    I give your comment 5*... :D

  • Awsome song. What amazes me is seeing how good(healthy) many of these 80's rockers look while being in their 50's or even older.

  • DAMN!!!!! this sounds good!!! most bands cant pull off anything unplugged. The onlu other band that comes to mind that pulled off a unplugged this good was Great White......check it out i know its on YouTube.

  • @chicostixx What about Queensryche and Alice in Chains?

  • when you grow up you'll realize that real artists like to make their own marks in this world...copying another man is weak...it's like the guy copies who copies Steve Perry...

  • Dude, I like Journey and Krokus both and in all my years listening to these two, it never occured to me that one was ripping off the other. If that is what you are looking to imply here, I think you are way off base. A band with a bit of journey influence, although a great band, would be giuffria. But Marc Storace ripping off Steve Perry, Naaah! That just doesn't fly.

  • Man,he sounds like Bon Scott.I this gut would get his head out of his ass and do a show with AC/DC.they contacted him when Bon died and he REFUSED ?

Krokus is good but he would have been more successfull with AC/DC

    just my opinion

  • He was wrongfully accused that he was copying Ac Dc's music style

  • Dude is GREAT! This guy can unleash anywhere........the studio, the concert stage, the freaking 7-11.....Awesome!!!

  • Bad ass!!!

  • fucking perfect voice

  • His voice is naturally kick-ass, not the case with some singers. I'm not much into the unplugged scene, but they can do it, and do it good. Krokus is seconed only to AC/DC.

  • Tommy Kiefer was the original singer '76-''78 but Marc is by far the BEST. In the top 10 singers of all time.

  • I OPENED FOR THEM W/ HEADEAST

  • es una lastima

  • Great video! ... I saw Krokus with Yngwie Malmsteen in Lubbock, TX in 1988. Great concert!!! Thanks for posting a great video.

  • now that guy could play the guitar!

  • The singer is Marc Storace, original Krokus singer.

The others are just later additions.

  • are the guys singing this krokus, or is this just some guys covering a krokus song?

  • It's Krokus... they are just old now.

  • These guys are pure musicians! Anyone who can transition a rock style to contemporary without losing the meaning definetly has something special.

  • AWESOME!!! I saw Krokus back in the 80s

in Toronto. Wonderfull version of Screaming. Very enjoyable.

  • I drove half my neighbors nuts singing this song full blast til 2:oo Am friday nights, They never called the cops on me though!

  • Still amazing after all those years!

  • ALL hard rock singer has god

  • I was just thinkin' 'bout Y&T! Tyketto was a tragedy, miss them...: (

  • KROKUS, Y&T & TYKETTO. AMAZINGLY UNDERRATED & UNSUNG BANDS!!

HMM, SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT compillation album!

  • Mistake or not, intentional or not...Marc still sounds great after all these years.

  • that guy's voice is awesome. even without the electric guitars.

  • I bet that my classmates remembers that tree..don't you?!

  • powerful, powerful unplugged version....this is what the streets does, this is what everything does every night...in this very moment. Sometimes screaming cleanses you from every single frustration..even if you don't scream out loud physically.

  • great tune

  • this song is by far one ofthe best rock songs ever performed unpluged

  • Comment removed

  • I agree. If you like the old metal unplugged, check out Judas Priest Diamonds and Rust acoustic. It's pretty impressive.

  • very nice.... krokus ftw !

  • It was good until the singer forgot the lyrics in the second verse. You can see the guitarist look at him like c'mon man it's your job to get the lyrics right... I was in a band and the singer couldnt remember the lyrics for shit. very frustrating.

  • The changes in the second verse were intentional. Listen again, it all ties together. If he forgot the lyrics he would not have kept the timing and cadence perfect.

  • well i disagree he did screw the lyrics up and if you go back to the comments a year ago somebody else agreed with me also. it was their biggest hit and he choked the lyrics granted their are alot of words to this song but Marc wrote them so you gotta remember them. and being a musician myself i know you can screw the words up but stay in time by waiting for the music to catch up and such.

  • Shit...and Krokus Krokus

  • This is tha shit!

Dallas Convention Center...Accept, Accept, Quiet Riot.

  • I was thinking about putting in 5 stars just because im a fan but that was just incredible, especially after all the years. KROKUS ROCKS!!

America loves you krokus...dont forget us!

  • shit its his song he can sing it any way he wants to old oak or woe tree its up to him shiiiiiiit.

  • long live metal marc can sing his balls off one of the best.

  • Awesome version of this song!

  • It's "woe tree". It means "tree of death" from medevil times.

  • I'm sitting here looking at my original vinyl album dude...the lyrics say,"an old oak tree" you my friend are wrong!

  • awesome acoustic version - Unique style ♥ ^_^¸.•*¨*•♫♪

  • GODDAMMIT! THAT WAS AWESOME! Storace hasn't lost a step after..what? Twenty-five years? A true artist.

  • Dude is AWESOME!!!
