I'm doing the exact same thing your doing!! I had my first landing alone!! (Instructor was still there but wasn't touching anything) Have you had that yet?? It was like my 4th landing I think
Hey guys! my account was hacked a year ago and at first i was goin to let it go but i checked this video i posted a couple years ago and so many of you had commented i had to find away to chat . So to answer some questions:
1. I'm now 16 and soloed on my 16th bday!
2. I have appx. 72hrs now
3. Money: I have a job at the airport and mow yards for extra cash, there is always away to pay, im not some snoby rich kid, i just love to fly and i didnt let anything stop me
LOL some of you guys are still only 14 and have enough hours for PPL, but since you are only 14, you can't even go solo. Have that many hours at that age is just a waster of money to be honest. I am 14 aswell, and only have 1 hour in the book, but will start going full out on lessons when I am 15, so that I don't waste money.
@RandomPedestrian63 noo itsnot that at all its just that every pther month my instructors go oof to fly for some commerical airline plus school work:(
here in the Philippines it cost around $8340 to get your PPL i don't know if i could start now even thou im just 14 but with this age i could just have my Ultralight Aircraft Training
@gtafan328 Not much... at my flight school they are a cessna pilot center so they use King videos to do most of the teachin which you just take home and watch and they tell u everything, then on your first lesson they just go over what u watched :) ohh u also have a big book to read too haha home work, but i think its fun.
@222delta you can start with a flight instructor at 14. It doesn't vary by state, it's an FAA requirement which therefore makes it a federal law which finally therefore has nothing to do with state laws. You have to be 16 to get your student pilot's certificate and make your solo flight.
@plane63 it's different here in Canada LoL! You can start flying at any age with an instructor but to do your first solo, you have to be 14 years or older LoL. Go Canada!
@TheYozStudios LOL canada. I would love that. As far as I know it's 14 down here. But really, most people don't even start until 15 and 1/2 because they can't solo till 16 anyways.
Nice job Bob. You're too hard on yourself in the description. Did you see that Paris Air Show video (I think it was the Superjet100 one) where the pilot was WAY too far to the left of the centerline? That'll make you feel better.
Thanks i did see that video i guess i was to hard on my self but I really wanted to have a great landing on camara. Love cockpit chronicles by the way keep it up.
try looking for some package deals it makes it alot cheaper where i take lessons me and my dad split a 2500 dollar deal that gave me 15 hours of flying which is great the only problem is im about out of time and we have to decide what to do next. also you can just pay for each lesson individually so after each lesson pay around 250 bucks so you dont have to pay for the whole license at once. good luck

Dear All,
I have some questions about psychology:
(1) Why do we love flying?
(2) Why do teenagers enjoy to fly high?
(3) Why do teenagers want to become pilots and to control aeroplanes?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)
