My two children (and I) suffered through years of verbal,emotional, and psychological abuse at the hands of their father. My oldest has not spoken to her father in 10 years,the second in 4 years. To this day he still insists that WE abused him! Our kids were 10 and 6 when I left him.

Only after years of counselling could I accept the fact that we did nothing wrong. He is a very sick person. He never got help.
