IMO, worst character in the game. Way too much a sociopath, starts problems with the crew, and in combat, she's either a bad Vanguard or a bad Adept. Jacob is much better at filling the Vanguard role. Miranda's better than her too. Period. Great support character as she's able to deal with barriers, shields and armor, and the passive squad boosts are great... and an SMG is a better squad weapon than a shotgun.

Have you ever worked with people who have suffered severe emotional, physical, and sexual abuse? Some of them just break and withdraw into themselves, others end up avoidance coping, and many (especially those whose abuse began as kids) end up rebelling and suffering from disorders. The way Jack acts is pretty true to form for a victim.

Her character is pretty tragic.

@solreaperbnt No official name for that track, it's just one of the combat tracks I did for that level. I call it "Strategic Combat" though that's an unofficial title. And that's as long as it is, since it's intended to be a very short combat sequence.

I never, never thought that Jack would become my favorite of the party members introduced in Mass Effect 2. I was extremely turned off by all of her portrayals in demonstration trailers and the like, but I absolutely loved hearing her tell her story in the game, expose her actual emotions and feelings, and allow me to take her down the Paragon/healing path. I was touched when I really began seeing the *person* within her. And that is something that Cerberus never saw, never would see.
