Yes, I love green too, but the plasma is more important than the green. I'm finding out that the green is just a lower energy version of the bright blue-white spark I get without the noise suppressor coil next to the gap. As you dampen the spark energy either with resistance or inductance, the color of the spark changes. I think that those who assume the green color is related to the copper are mistaken.
