I like the concept, but I would feel as if the screen would be too far for me; however, I would have to physically be there to get the feel for the screen. I'm sure if I was there a screen that huge would be comfortable. Two thumbs up for the massive improvement and setup.

The projector is an optoma HD70. I would look for the newer version though that does 1080p.

The screen is an elunevision 92" 1.8 gain grey screen. Search for Eastporters on google and you can see the screens. it's an awesome screen.

Be careful - I do NOT have Showtime seats...funny thing is if you click on the showtime seats but then look at the photos...some of the photos are of my seats..easisest way to tell..look at the arm rest(showtime are rest are way too close to seat cushion - not natural)..and the backrest...look different than my chairs.

Very nice setup!

I just got my 50" Panasonic G10 plasma, and even though it's got amazing picture quality and a 600hz subfield...But I can't play shooters on it since it's too much space to look around for me. I've got a 360 on it for GH5 to play with my wife, and to use as my dvd players until I get a BD player.I play MW2 and Halo 3 downstairs on my computer monitor (Asus 21.5") that has 2ms refresh rate and is 1080p.

I'd love to have a theater like yours.Thumbs up!

That is an Optoma HD70 I've had for a few years now..newer/better projectors are out there now. I would never go back to 4:3...obviously that projector screen is 16:9 (or just widescreen in general)...I would say 16:9 is the only way to go now for any type of gaming and really just for anything regarding a TV/Projector..

16:9 is always going to give you a better gaming experience since all cod's-gears-vegas-etc. are produced in 16:9--the main reason you see some projectors playing 4:3 is to have a brighter picture--this creats a minor problem with picture distortion, squishing things slightly

That's the Optoma HD70 (720p) projector. If you look at my old video of this room I go into more detail on the electronics in the room. I wanted it to be as easy as possible to run wires etc...which is why I went with the table for my projector to sit on. It's out of eye sight unless you actually get up and walk around the table and look at it.
