whatever did go down that night, the Boxing World lost a very special person, a fighter who everyone wanted to win, the man most loved in the ring, and a true true legend of Sport. He was not the greatest fighter of all time, but he was the greatest man to fight of all time, god bless yu ! and thanks for all the memories
Arturo Gatti had lots of skill, and good defense when he put his mind to it. He had world class punching power and was probably a step or two behind Floyd Mayweather. It was not how many fights he won, it's how he fought. He is a throwback and reminds me of Jack Lamatta.
@jason60152 Gatti was already on the slide by then.. Should never of took that fight, but Gatti backs done to nobody.. A true legend! Will be remembered long after Floyd
I don't understand the "not much skill" comments? Gatti had a ton of skill, but he WANTED to scrap, and that's he's a fighter that was loved, not just admired.
@chippyfinch Check out the combination he lands on Angel Manfredy at 3:13 of 'it's a fight', ducking to slip a left hook from angel. he lands three body shots and a left hook to the head. He just needed a better defense.
Gatti is one of my favourite fighters of all time, he had the most guts and courage than some fighters that are out there. He was a hero to us Italians and he will always be remembered. Grazie Arturo per tutti memorie dentro ring, tu sei un guerriero vero fori e dentro ring
Not the most skilled of boxers but had a heart the size of a truck. If someone doesn't respect that, they've never had to struggle with anything in life.
@KwongYikHang it had to break everyones heart, during the mayweather fight Gatti was crying in the corner becuase the fight was being stopped instead of ending his way

The video was very well done.
Arturo Gatti was one of my least favourite fighters. I prefer skillful stylists to brawlers. But the video is classy.
