měsíčku nežasni :DDDD instead of nezhasni :DD in original don´t swich off (the light of moon) it can´t be strictly translated :)) but she sings moon don´t wonder :D
I had to listen to this several times to decide how exactly I felt about this womans voice, but now that I have grown accustomed to it it's a glorious sound. Beautiful tone, wonderful support and technique. Exquisite phrasing and dynamic control, I can just imagine what it must be like seeing her live!
Wow, she really messed up the words in the second strophe. However, despite her memory lapse, her singing is wonderful, nuanced, with beautiful phrasing and colouring of the vocal lines and especially a very steady technique that perfectly controls her thick spinto voice. As it's her singing which is most important - since words of course can be learnt (or re-learnt) just as well as they can be forgotten -, I think this is a beautiful video.
This is Adrianne at her best! She's been my dear friend for 25 years and we went to university together...
've had the wonderful opportunity to watch many "singer actors" and Adrianne is the best of our generation! Of course she learned from the best mentor of all, Placido Domingo. Her sound is so rich and just draws you in like such a very fine wine!
I think hers is one of those voices that do not tape or record well. Nothing wrong with this clip of course ( I don't understand Czech) but the joy of listening to her in person does not even come close.
The pure lucid beauty of a great Canadian soprano. No need for scooping or other effects. This is pure VOICE!!!!! I'm proud to be CANADIAN!!!!Congratulations Adrianne!
Beautiful, luscious....gorgeous singing.....

Big deal! Most people wouldn't understand Czech anyhow. What needs to be conveyed already is in the voice and her singing!

Love the voice. She's following in the footsteps of great Aprile Millo

while having a pleasant voice, this singer has not the slightest chance of being in Millo's league.

I have seen her in Tosca 2008 at La Opera and I was amazed at seeing her singing Vissi D'arte.
She has a very personal and mellow voice.:)
