Alien Swarm Launch Video

I HAVE A PROBLEM PLEASE SOMEBODY TAKE A MOMENT TO HELP ME!!!

I got Alien Swarm installed from Steam, And when i launch the game, i get black screen and white cursor, i hear sound and music, but no video!

...

What should I DO?!?

@Tabe112 You can play this game in FPS, using a console command. It's basically a 3rd person shooter but viewed in topdown. The objects, environments and characters are all in 3D using the Source engine.

This was a Valve game, made by a certain team inside of Valve. At Valve, quote unquote, "[We] are free to work on anything we'd like to." Which is why the L4D team wanted to finish up this game, because they can, and because this was the original game they wanted to make from the start of their development careers.

@Coecoo Years ago they hired the Alien Swarm2k4 team, and they helped make L4D2 and Portal 2, and did this as a side project, they are officially Valve.
