Sweet patch. i have recreated it, but I am having two unexpected behaviors. 1) When I create new toggles the toggleStates array maintains the 1 or 0 value of the previous toggles (as expected), but the newly created toggle doesn't stay checked as on or off. That makes sense if all newly created toggles default to a value of 0, but I am curious as to how you made your new toggles default to state of the old toggle (as shown in the video)?
@malikilam Hey, glad to hear you're getting some use out of this patch! Honestly this one may be my fav out of all the tutorials... But anyway, I think you're the second person to point this out and I'll try to go back and see what I changed between part 3 and part bonus. Having said that, I'm not going to have time for a week or so, which is much less time than I think it would take you to figure out what's going on on your own. Let me know how it goes.
Thanks again for all the videos. question though. did you have problems with it crashing once you created multiples with bpatcher. I was able to get to what looks like this point but it always crashes? any ideas?
@PinePtones Hmm. No, I didn't have that problem, but it is me coding so I'm not surprised :) Are you on a mac? Open up console and check out the crash report.
hi, great vid and sequencer! is the code for this posted anywhere? it would be really cool to look at this and maybe adapt it for the monome arc. i'm kind of nooby when it comes to max skills...
@oootini1 Awesome, yes, 100%. I'll have to wait at least until I get home tonight to upload the patch, but I'm excited that someone wants to get this on a monome. I worry that the patch is a bit brittle: without sme Max know-how it might be hard to pull out the pieces you need to do exactly what you want. Let me know if you run into trouble.
@dude837 hey men i was wondering if you can make maybe a part 4 to get it like this cuz i have been trying to figure it out but i just dont get it u.u
@seebbsss Hmm... Yeah, there's a lot of magic between part 3 and part bonus. I tried to address using the bpatcher in Tutorial 9. You can give that one a watch and then try to apply it to this one... If it's still too hard I'll try to make a part 4

2) I have created a function to check or uncheck all toggles, and it works fine. But I get the following javascript errors in the Max window:
js: circseq.js: Javascript TypeError: addToggle has no properties, line 145
js: error calling function addtoggle
Any suggestions on how to clear that up?
Cheers, Malik
