Modern Warfare 3 was basically Modern Warfare 2 with different guns. You cannot deny it. It had the same engine, and the gameplay is almost identical. New maps... hooray. It's like they couldn't just give out a map pack or something. I enjoyed MW2, but I am very sore about MW3. Definately not worth 60 dollars to just rebuy MW2...

Is MW3 really the same engine as the original COD? I find that highly unbelievable..even mw2 looked a lot different (better) from the first MW. However MW3 does look exactly the same as mw2.

Have to agree with Husky, each new CoD game is built on pretty much the same engine as the original.
If we put it in terms that i would understand, it'd be like releasing half-life 2 on the original half-life engine.
Or Warcraft 3 on the original warcraft engine.
Or Starcraft 2 on the original starcraft engine.
Or any other sequel on the same engine with reworked items/abilities and possibly a different storyline.

Besides, 90% of the games today look no better than the games released in 2007. What makes cod so special that everyone has to bash it for graphics.

We are now in 2011 and nearing 2012. Meaning? The games that you listed are WAY out dated. The fact that YOU are 1 of the 2 people in the top comments sickens me. What you've said is just retarded.
