Also it tends to make a person sound commanding but self absorbed at the same time. If the content is interesting then there is no need for such an overbearing approach.

The over exaggerated voice is the problem I have with these kind of V logging videos. I like phreakindee and coolduder for voice style. Phreakindee could definitely work in voice jobs. I doubt the Vlog expert could. This style is great for youtube and talking to younger people without much of an attention span, ha ha yeah the jump cuts are for that reason too. Anyway. I don't like the vlog style for the reasons listed above. I don't know why it ever became popular. It is mostly just annoying.
