  • It is swimming along the surface to feed on over a ton of krill, copepods, mysids, and amphipods. Inuit hunters are allowed to take 75 individuals a year, which is less than 1% of the total population.

  • @lastsaracen The Bowhead can grow up to 20 meters and the Humpback is usually around 15, Bowheads are bigger :). Pretty late response but yeah..

  • Majestic animals indeed. Is the Polar Bear hunting the whale? I was eager to know which is bigger, the Humback or the Bowhead? And is the Blue Whale really the largest animal ever to have lived. I speculated there has been a dinosaur that is larger or something, wrong guess I supopose.
