  • Dude you are moving your legs

  • @MrEricdgreat Yup. I have a little bit of movement, mainly in my hips. You're telling me as if I don't know. FYI- a person can be paralyzed in a wheelchair and still be able to move their limbs a bit.. By the way, great observation, dude.

  • i wish i didnt have spasms damn be a godsend lol and ive been hurt 14 yrs and im a class one (t-5) my transfer aint as fluid as that but ill get back in :)

  • man you make it look easy!

must admit my legs would twitch doing that manoeuvre.

    i need to practice more.

if you ever get a jet ski, i'd like to see how you get on that. would like to buy on where in WA (oz). But am worried about getting on/off

  • @ss770640 Hey man, practice makes perfect.. Or at least it'll make things much easier. A jetski would be tough. I've never tried that before. But I can guarantee you that some other paraplegic, worse off than you or I, has made it look easy:) Work hard at it, and it'll become "normal".

  • What kind of rims and wheels are those I've been looking for a set of good offroad tires.

  • @X1mPuls3X You can find them at Sportaid online. They have different diameters depending on your wheelchair measurements. In certain situations they make a night and day difference.

  • so without spasms is everything easy..i have many many spasm and do this it's very strong for me...know you something for the spasms or muscles relax.??

  • @Sciacallo22 I'm sure it's much easier to transfer if you're not having spasms at the same time. Sorry, I don't know much about spasms.

  • @Sciacallo22 i have a lot of muscle spasm in my legs. im t9 complete. i transfer the same way, not much diffrent. stretching the legs helps, to getting more relaxed in the muscles. my legs are always better in the summer, so the heat helps also. swimming is also very nice. hope this will help u..

  • Knights, I been slackin on the video blogs! Training for a 150 mile hand-cycle race in May, which is taking up most of my free time. Tomorrow I plan on filming a car transfer video, pointing out some useful tips which make a world of difference.

  • hey bro when do we get to see you transfer in and out of a car?

  • You are Great And keep up the Good work :)

  • Great video, thank you. I've never gotten back into my chair that way but I need to give it a try. I think the trick is getting your feet underneath you and then making it all one motion. Of course it would help if I were a bit lighter, which I'm working on.

  • Hey jansen, injured in 1999 car accident, Incomplete T8-T11. Yes, have abs/core/legs. A couple years ago I decided to use an extremely low seat back, which forces me to use my core/abs, rather than a "Lazyboy" type seatback which enables a person to become a bit more relaxed through the core. You?

  • hey cool video. what's your injury level, complete/ inc? you seem to have a lot of core, abs, and even some legs...thanks!
