i've been through this type of abuse from my high school sweetheart and when u make up your mind to leave you have to do it. It only gets worse especially when they have a traumatized childhood which they didnt get treatment or counseling for. He didnt want me to leave and tried to make me come back forcefully and now he's in prison. If u both dont get help it just turns out getting worse. god bless
