It's already been explained why he doesn't look directly at people, its technique for video interviews (not an interrogation technique, more for aesthetics). I don't think it's awkward at all (it's Zanna that looks awkward).

I'm amazed Zanna agreed to do this. She's definitely camera shy.

I don't know what's worse. Being named after a soap opera character, or a DnD character... At least her nerd lineage is beyond question now.
