  • i like bleach 2 bro

  • Where can I get visual hub?

  • 1080p is realy good aswell but 720p is good aswell :)

  • Upload limit is now 2 GB :P

  • What cam are u using here!

  • SUPER is 100%, you may have on into a scam site that charges for it. I've used it and it supports very many codecs and is extremely useful. I shrunk a DVD file from 2297MB down to 135MB with it, that's reducing the size by 94%! How's that for compression.

  • Yeah but i bet your quality went down 90% hahahaahaha

  • bleach fan!

  • @murdamonk

your saying it like its a bad thing

  • Am I?

  • @murdamonk

well it didnt sound very positive :P

  • Anybody know of any good safe FREE conversion and editing software that I can use with my Flip mino HD on windows, he mentioned SUPER in his video, but it's not FREE?

  • At least this is HD quality, I'm sick of people labelling there videos HD when they clearly are not!

    1280x768....

  • If it looks this bad i don't see the point.

  • thanks now i can stop try to upload 1080p video thaks man

  • I have a problem, i save a HD video with sony vegas 7, and i try to upload to youtube it takes over 10 hours to upload :S Help pls, if somebody help me i subscribe that person :)

  • What apps do you use to make your videos?

  • can youtube support hd 1080p now? pls answer

  • does VisualHub exist for Windows?

  • Because YouTube only supports a max HD resolution of 720p.

  • Hey splitka1996, why don't you just do 9334p

  • For Windows users, meGUI is also an excellent tool for making Hd Mp4s. H264 is def. a great HD codec.

  • How do you get that image in the bottem righthand corner on your videos

  • I have notice the last few days that the videos in HD have side bars and are no longer filling out the screen as they did before. Does anyone know if You tube is working on this?

  • Is it me or did Youtube just increase the HD resolution?

  • I think so.

    It annoys me :(

  • @XBladenoJutsu i don't get it lolz

  • @ajabrams95 That comment was back when Youtube JUST increased the resolution to 1080. Looking back on that comment, I still am disappointed with the update even now... 720 is good enough. Imo what Youtube REALLY NEEDS to do is 60fps video playback.

  • @XBladenoJutsu ohhh , I would like to see 1080p format , but my laptop only plays better on 720p and lower. But yeah 720p is actually good :)

  • On my AMD Athlon 64 3000+ CPU overclocked from 1.81 GHz to 2.11 GHz, it is running really well, but on 1.81 GHz it's "cutting", video is about 12-15 FPS, but on 2.11 GHz it's better. :D

  • great logo in the right corner :D

  • HD video does not require an Intel Core 2 Duo. It theoretically can playback on any CPU. Flash based video via a web browser is often very buggy, and there's no real way around it other than just posting links to download the video. The only downside to HD on youtube? YouTube can't handle the upload bandwidth and is often too slow to even pretend to watch. YouTube is really overused. I'll post any HD videos I ever make on Vimeo.

  • When i first got my laptop it plaed Youtube HD vids realy well but now there all of a sudden realy Laggy/Stuttery help?

  • I have the same laptop problem too.

HD requires you to have at least a duo core computer.

  • yeh, i got an intel core duo, i was using firefox and someone told me that google chrome was better so i tried that and it plays fine now

    :)

  • Ignore buff guy. The moving cursor thing is actually very cool. Im thinking buffguy might be a little bit retarded so he gets seasick by the moving cursor. Stick with the cursor setup for your videos. In fact if you could let me know what program you use to record which does this, Id appreciate it.

  • HD is really good for quality vidz for youtube I do my videos not in HD because of the copyright content I have to redo the vidz and take out the copyright content blocked in some countries I use a softsreen recorder & my vidz comes out really good and the average file size is about 13mb compared to HD its about 28 mb ++

  • this guy is the best, he helped me alot with comp stuff.

  • Bleach poster :D :D :D

  • Thank you for the info.

  • i need your help tremendously! i just bought my digital camera; canon powershot sx1 is, and the video is a .mov file. when i upload the video onto my computer, it won't read anything past 1 minute. i don't know what settings i need to change, but the file won't open if my video is past 1minute. HELP!

  • how do u get vidoes over 10mins long

  • Hi. Love your High Definition picture. However everytime I click to watch it, your video stops and starts every few seconds. It plays steadily on the normal mode. Can you let me know how I can enjoy watching HD with an un-interrupted video flow?

  • Thats you internet connection, not the video.

  • i didn't know they kept visual hub alive! I love that app!

  • great! now we can see your big milk dud head in HD

  • Great video man. Good info. I have Visual Hub and Handbrake, but I use iMovie '09 to upload directly to youtube since it has youtube settings. Do you think that iMoive '09 has the RTSP (or something like it) built in to it? I have pretty good SD results, I am searching for an HD cam now. Have you tried recording directly to Quicktime, I have had GREAT results. You need a DV (or HDV) cam though. This is making it hard since most cams are HDD or SD cards now. Any advice??? Thanx, shotgunn

  • you look like CHEF from southpark !!!

    hahahahhahaha

  • haha

  • hahaha lool

  • Thanks nigga:) Well explained, 5/5!

  • Hi, anytime I tried to open Sony vegas you know they download bar at the bottom will get to initializing Directx Plug-ins and it will stop or freeze. Sony vegas will not pass that point or open at all. Please help me.

  • gators!

  • great vid thx! also i use a webbie hd and when i upload a vid it doubles the length and the sound is on the correct time so i cuts out in the middle, you can check my channel to see what i mean any suggestions?

  • Everytime I try to watch a hi-def, or even hi-quality video on youtube its always skippy... help, anyone?

  • I've brought up that problem too but nobody's helping. -_-

  • pause it, let it load all the way (can take a very long time), then play. This is the obvious albight annoying method.

  • get a new computer or video card...

  • your pc sux ass

  • Man I dig this hd shit

  • go gators

  • You're a great speaker

  • Lol . You can use the Camstasia to do HD Movie !

Just you select 1240x720[i dont remember]

  • NOT TRUELY HD ULESS RECORDED IN HD

  • duh

  • lol of course

  • well people always talk about rendering, thats why

  • Thanks! Good video. I use SUPER to do video conversion and some of the settings are a little confusing. I know what frame rate and video bitrates are generally but I am unclear how they get handled and limits on common video devices. Also any info on copying foreign film captions off youtube would be of interest. Thanks again - great site.

  • is this only for mac os?

  • How do you put that HD Button on your vid.??

  • save the video in HD

  • h264 leading the web for the next ten to fifteen years?

    You know nothing.

  • u rock!!!!

  • Very good vid. Very informative.

  • Believe me, there is zero risk of me running out to buy a MAC... been there, done that. Once bitten....

  • That's an idiot thing to say - and - you spelled "retarded" wrong. So who looks stupid?

  • I like your bleach poster

  • Haha same

  • How do I cut the videos down to 10 minutes or less? Thanks! :)

  • Ok. Awesome video! So I have a question. If we are doing editing and what not on the video. Should we first import it into our editor, do the edits, and then do the encode with VirtualDub?

    Thanks for the video!

  • mac, WHOOO!!!

  • GATORS! and BLEACH! lol

  • thanks very much for all this great info.

  • hey, i give you 5 stars, if you tell me, why i can't see HD videos in HQ quality, wenn i just want to look at them in the small youtube window!

  • type &fmt=18 into the url at the end

  • afaik the only problem with mp4 files when playing them back via a flash video player is that most require to be fully downloaded before you can actually play it. As you already said, RTSP fixes it, but there's another way you can fix that incase you already have an mp4 file and don't wish to re-encode it. Simply move the videos meta data from it's end to the beginning of the file.

  • a well explained instruction video many thanks very helpful !! cheers

  • thanks man ..gr8 video

    5star +

    Sub

  • go gators!!

  • bleach ftw!

  • ...

  • nice

  • you are so awesome...only wished I'd found this channel sooner!!!

  • all I gotta say is GO GATORS!

  • Though your tips didn't help me, at least not directly, I've subscribed.

Your voice is so easy for me to understand (which is a boon to me, being hearing impaired. Many vids with voice don't work so well for me)

Check out the result. It is still uploading right now (COD4 Vid), but it is a fraction of the size of regular AVI which was several GB, and looks loads better to boot.

Took 12 mins to encode on my 2.5GHz Dual Core CPU, so the claims that it is processor intensive are true.

  • Both Handbrake and SUPER were useless for me though.

Super would probably work with 720p vids, but it isn't compatible with 1080p ones. The resolutions need to be multiples of 16, and 1080 isn't (though 720, as well as 1280, and 1920 are)....Handbrake just refused to do anything. It sat there and nothing happened.

Using google failed for me, so I went to sourceforge myself and found a nice lil' DL. x264vfw. Combined with VirtualDub not only worked, but meant my 2 min file was 72MB 1920 x1080

  • nice video man :o))

  • I really like your watermark, how did you do it?

  • since youtube updated its site I cant find the HD option anymore!

  • Very nice presentation. You're good!

  • How long should a 339mb hd vid take to upload to u tube mines been trying for at least 4 hrs is this normal

  • What the hell?! How come when I watch this in HD it goes frame by frame. If I watch mine it skips a bunch. :(

  • same here. i cant view high def vids properly

  • I think it's just the video card. I have an old computer. :p

  • Go Gators man!

  • I have been using AVS Video Converter to convert AVCHD Video that are 12 Mbps Vids 1920 X1080 to 720P, It works great, I convert to Mpeg4 Divx format ,Size is approximately 50 Meg per minute with 256Kbps Audio & 6 Mbps Data rate 24 Bit color! At this rate NO PROBLEM with SIZE on 10 Minute Video!!!

  • how long should a 339mb HD vid take to upload on youtube mines been uploading all nite and still going is this normal

  • It takes me about 30 minutes to upload 150Mb, I have 7.5Mbs Download & 750Kbs upload speed with my service , If you know your download speed upload speed is usually 10% of it. Yes all night seems excessive!

  • just a small correction, u can make a HD video even if the source is NOT a HD video. if u have a video taken with not HD camcorder (720x576), before encoding with H.264 select "resize" option and bring it to 1280x720. just make sure the bitrate is bigger then 2 mb/s. i use AVIDEMUX program to do all my video encoding. it is free, available for unix and windows and contains all codecs needed, so u dont have to install any other codecs (xvid, dvx, h264, etc)

  • My game res is 1680x1050 and the settings are on max. I have gtx 260 c216 in sli and those cards can render HD graphics. I am sure my gameplay is in HD. If you have some free time you can check my three videos that I posted and the quality is really bad in HD.

  • in theory, the less work youtube has to do with ur video (resize, encode, etc), the less it will be different from what u upload. so before uploading ur video, bring it to youtube standart/requirement. with any tool, make ur video: 1280x720, 3000-5000 kbs/s, 30 fps, h.264, 128 kb/s audio, stereo, acc, 44100 mhz. when uploading, youtube pay attention to the time of encoding, but u have to pay attention to the quality of encoding. if ur video is ok, youtube will just post it, without much change

  • I want to upload my COD4 game play, and I use Fraps to record them and Virtualdub to edit the video. I tried everything I know to the shrapness like this but I could not get it.

    I also use Divx codec.

    Any idea why?

What kind of video codec should I use?

  • what format is ur recorded video? best thing to do is to "decode" ur video before encoding it again with some other codec. so use any lossless codecs (HUFFYUV). when the video is decoded, it takes lots of space. at this stage is the best to edit ur video, as u work with raw data, not crippled video with some codec. after editing is done, encode ur video with h.264 or any otehr codec u like. i like AVIDEMUX for this stuff, but AUTOGK is goot software too. select h.264 or xvid (xvid better divx)

  • good stuff bwana!

    thanks for the tips.

  • very good video

  • One question, can YouTube support 480p? (dumb question I know)

  • thanks.. great quality..

  • At least he got the guts to show himself in youtube rather a noob playing runescape.

  • what camera do you recommend for unboxing videos

  • That's weird, your camcorder saves your files as AVI. Do you have a choice? I'm using FCE4 to export. I also found that H.264 is better than MPEG4.

However, FCE gives you keyframe/datarate choices with each file format, does visualhub?? Nice tutorial, kudos Bwana man!

  • great video...

    jim 8)

  • I like watching you on High Definition. I always click the HD button when i watch your videos.. mm.

  • i have an problem with HD video i want to know is there some type of download for me to not get lag on my videos
