@KnuxSonic8 That's actually one of my favorite parts in the chart, because to me it was so unexpected for the type of song that it was, yet it still worked IMO.
@blueapple128 It does what every DDR from Max1 to Supernova AC did, the judgments only showed up to Perfect, but the arrow flashes still showed up white and yellow for Marvelous and Perfect judgments even if it only counted toward a Perfect step when tallied on the results screen.
However, here's the kicker. If two people had the same amount of Perfects, Greats, etc. the end scores could wind up different for both players because while hidden, a Marvelous step still counted for more points.
@blueapple128 Simple, you keep track in your head. Besides, with that game the Marvelous window is as wide as the Perfect window so it's kinda difficult NOT to get Marvelous steps if your PA in other games is good.

@blueapple128 Mario Mix didn't do that, but those AC releases did. And it made sense to an extent. Unless you PFCd something, how else are you gonna tell accuracy when the Perfect and Great counts are the same. No two people step EXACTLY the same way at any given time. The only real change made now is that Marvelous is tallied individually and that the Max score is from 100% Marvelous steps.
Great flow indeed, provided you can handle that one part (which took me quite some time to figure out).

Whoa...have you ever gotten All Marvelous? D:

@Fairy7red7hime With Mario Mix, yeah. With any other DDR the best I've ever done was 13 Perfects on Disturbia.

Doesn't Mario Mix only go up to Perfect?

How did you find out that you had an MFC then?
Did you count all the white flashes or something?

I can hardly see someone counting out a few hundred steps...
Wait - does the score only max out on a MFC?
blueapple128 2 years ago
@blueapple128 All I ever did was keep up with the flashes. The moment I see yellow, the MFC is over. Simple.
And no, it maxes out on a PFC.
