Depends on the rider. It doesn't have the brutal power and top speed of the 'busa, but it's got an optional traction control system that helps to keep the rear from spinning out if traction is lost on hard curves. A good rider could probably push this bike a little harder than than the 'Busa. I have ridden one of these, and while I am no pro rider, It was immediately apparent just how stable the bike is. I own an F800S, and this much larger bike was just as nimble and just as planted.
I'm sorry but I can't agree with you about the "nimble" part. I had a test drive the other week and I nearly missed the first turn completely. It is a big bike and you feel it every possible way. Doesn't mean it's a bad bike, it's good... heck I even bought one so i think it's a really sweet bike. It just can't compare to a lighter sports or even sports-touring bike, even from far.
The k1300s is quicker to 200 kmh than a Busa, handles better and has all the mod cons i.e ESA suspension, trac control, quick shifter, heated handlebars and ABS so yeah i think so.

ich habe gekauft diese scheisse dreck von motorrad! und heute 10.04.2009 um 17:00 h in Kostajnica Kroatien, diese scheisse dreck wollte nicht starten, ich muss unter 200 leute ihm abschleppen mit abschleppdienst, ich habe alles ausprobiert dass ich ihm starten koennte, und nichts! er bleibt ruhig! ich will nicht mehr ihm haben! 20.750 Euro ist zu viel fuer so eine scheisse dreckige stueck!! fuck you BMW 1300S!! He is not the only one that happened to him. My neighbour also had the same problem. It just wouldn`t start - he was on the phone with service and they advised him few things but nothing worked. At the end he also had to call towing service to get the bike from Krk to Zagreb.
