Im a borderline athetist Jew so by all means I avoid those trucks. I just find it irritating and imposing to get asked if I'm Jewish and do I want to follow some fucking rituals. But to each his own. I just have an issue when people try to impose their beliefs on you as if you are a Jew you have to follow the religion. Give me a fucking break. The reason they ask people "Are you Jewish" is that they are reaching out to their own. They are not interested in converting anyone. As a matter of fact, it is a rather arduous process to convert in the Orthodox or Conservative movement. Reformniks are not serious Jews.

I know they are not perfect nor do they claim to be, but I have seen many comments that people leave on videos having to do with JW and it seethes of hatred. People attack them and yet forget the behavior of Catholics, Lutherans, and other Protestant religions have done.

Why would you feel like that? A Jewish person is entitled to their beliefs as we believe in ours. People ask me if I am Jewish and I am not offended at all. They have maintained their religion for thousands of years. Their traditions and values have not changed. They help each other in hard times. I am sorry, I do not know of any other religion like that and I do admire them for holding on in spite of all that has happened to them.

I think you are basing your opinion on a singular point of reference, and since you are of sephardic descent, you can certain commiserate on the horror of being misunderstood through a myopic lens. Maybe, I don't know, take a trip to Crown heights. Talk to some of the families there and then think again before you judge.

The boy asked a man if he was Jewish, the man said no so the boy said in response "Have a good day!" He didn't give him any offensive look what so ever but did even more so by doing the complete opposite! And you see by 2:31 a mitzvah tank driver actually waives to a truck driver going the opposite direction. I do not know anyone who does this!
