Thats hard on those hopper flights, running rock thru them, evr heard of a grader!!! WTF Was that one of your guys spraying diesel in the hopper, that had mix in it! boy not too smart, inspector see's that and that load will be rejected and removed!! Two inches is the thickness of a standard driveway, parking lots and heavy use lots are usually two lifted base lift usually ATB, then final lift of wear course, with and average thickness of 4-6 inches, depending on subgrade. aggregates are better.

Lots of equipment cost hitting this job and equipment just setting, 2nd paver not working, no quality control what was the density readings and did you get compactions,

you did all that in 4 days? the parking lot is going to sink in places and cause puddles and low spots which could have been prevented by leaving the parking lot for 1 month after spreading and rolling the gravel. Paving takes time, at least 1 month.
