over all you did a hell of a job good choice of songs I had a back up NUMARK Axis 8 set up I traded it for an Alesis Multimix 16 , a Belari MP 105 , a PC to make beats and as a backup mixing table I got a NUMARK CD MIX 1 and to be real I will use it to sample beats and my guess I got a good deal and the NUMARK CD MIX1 has to be the sleeper the better piece in my eyes its easy and mixes well its perfect for my start up studio -- keep it rockin, never worry about mess ups the best do it keep it up

Try using your EQ's a bit more and getting the beats matched a touch tigher. Otherwise you're doing well keep practising! :)

i traded my old 4 ch vestax mixer on craigslist today for this.its brand new. i didnt need it but its worth 399 and my mixer was worth like 200 so im happy. its pritty sick. i scratch and make beats so im just gona use this to mix my beats and maybe sell it for new equipment.

Your beats overlapped a bit in the first transition (not on beat) when you introduced the second song and kind of a sudden cut of the first track; the second transition was also a bit fast ( let the songs merge and play around with the EQ's to get better transitions) But all in all good work. (Probably know this by know though)

mines got a bpm sign below the "pitch" on the display but whats it for? i can't get it to actually get it to become liquidy crystallyed up i can only jus see the outline of B P M on the display. u know y this is?

k well if ur using virtual dj i dont think you can because you will need some sort of a usb connection from ur mixer to ur computer...and the CDMIX doesnt have a USB so you cant...the only u CAN use is a software called Serato Sratch Live. which is $500

also.. preaching to someone how to dj is fruitless, you've got to practice lots and it comes...its not that difficult to be profficient! biggest thing in the beginning though...KNOW YOUR TUNES! knowing when a good point to drop the next track in is ideal, where you mixed in daft punk was ideal if you ask me. stella attempt! 5 stars

now for a comment on the video! the transitions for someone who's only been mixin for such a short time where really good. you just need to work on your beat matching, that comes with practice though, then your gains too, keep a REALLY keen eye on the monitor levels, if a track has a natural volume gain over the one you're mixing out of, make sure to compensate for that by using the hi, mid and lo gains to equalise it out.

its a cdmix2. its work pretty well. i think one that i like about the cdmix3 is it shows what songs is playing. with the cdmix2 it only shows time remaining and all that, therefore i have to keep the cd list next to me. otherwise its a pretty good machine.

i see, cdmix3 can handle MP3s. Thats the most main upgrade about it.
