if you say in romanian Vlad II the Dragon or just Vlad The Dragon it's like this Vlad Dragonul or Vlad al II-lea Dragon(an mythologic animal, which is different from dracul(term used as an reference to the devil). I'm just saying this as an informative fact about the romanian language and the changes that the words suffer acording each language.
the romanian language has words and expression which can't not be translated to the same lyrics because the language has more synonyms,Dracul in english is a synonym to The Devil/Demon and dragon in romanian is dragon,it's the same but with a different accent of course, but the historic fact that he was inducted into the Order of the Dragon influented the name abroad because there no exists the translated form for Dracul.
@LiquidPlasm i'm sorry, it's Walachia, it's Vladimir III, sir name Dracula (the sone of Dracul (it means Dragon) pronouced with a "ya" at the end) Ivan the terrible is a completly diffrent person you tool, and finally, he wasn't a "count!!" he was a prince. His father (valdimir II, Dracul) was prince and after he died and Vlad was released from Turkish captivity, he got founds from the ruler of Austria-Hungry to reclaim his throne as the prince of Romania.
@GrimImpaler i read from history book, wikipedia and several other sites the info, so you should post your pointless argument elsewhere, and youre wrong. I will give you the liberty to educate yourself and save my own time.
btw as a friendly advice, check your typos before posting.
@LiquidPlasm 1. i apologise for typos, how ever i don't care. 2. wikipedia? really? people jack that up all the time. 3. the sites you visted have alot of wrong information if Ivan the Terrible was listed as a name of any kind. He was a Russian Czar, not a Romanian Prince. 4. i'm not wrong, i'm doing this for entertainment and to correct mistakes of others.
@GrimImpaler thats why i read from many sources becouse you cant fully trust net cant you. yes you are right about ivana, and its the only uncorrect thing i wrote, my mistake. all else is right.
the "count" title were given by people to him at the time, probably just a nickname or such, the old text differs from russia to germany and turk. its really difficult to get all truly facts of him becouse the old text speak of legends etc backed up by superstition and it changes from one mouth to other
@GrimImpaler i didnt find from quick search where the count title came from originally but from my opinion it comes now mostly from bram stokers film, but nevertheless i did wrote that he was a prince, not a count.
in the end i actually dont give a crap where it comes from, i just enjoy the music and hellsing anime, thats enough for me and i bet its enough for you too :)
oh and thx for correcting me about ivan. dont know how i mixed his name with vlad O.o
@LiquidPlasm bram strokers novel. bram wrote a novel, but yeah, sweet music. they should have got the same guy to write the sccore for ultimate. although he did some great music for certin scenes, the rest was forgetable. (i kinda wanted to know where Ivan got mixed into that... so fucking weird)
@Blademaster1942 He tells Incognito: "My name is also an anagram". Then there is the picture in the last episode with the 2 faces. And Integra who says: "You No-life king who once were a count".
@Pomme843 R&R = Rest and Relaxation. Something like that. Usually refers to taking a vacation off from work or school. In the context here, Alucard is sending Incognito on a "permanent vacation."
when that music starts at 1:44.. so sexy!!

@LollypopParadiseKiss Cool. I always wondered where "Dracula" came from, I thought it was just Vlad The Impaler's nickname, not an actual word.
amazingcomedy2 2 months ago

Alucard= Dracula, Count Vladislav Dracul, Prince of Vallachia. aka The Impailer.
Turkish know him as Kazikli Voyvoda, "impailer prince" Russians as "Ivan the Terrible"
Someday i will travel to Transylvania to see the roots from where historys bloodiest mofo was given birth to the legend of most badass character ever.

@Goku32112 Well, he is Vlad III Dracul, you will find that out soon in the next Ultimate episode release.
After all, this is a no brainer since Ultimate ep 2 showed Dracula being defeated by Van Helsing. ;p
I mean come on, at this time is anyone still surprised to know Alucard is and always was Dracula?..
