I myself got it as a gift from one of my friends who won it in some competition, along with some plugins... you can download the free trial of after effects 8.0 on the adobe site because this version should work with vista

If you have version 7.0 you can install it and then just change the compatibility mode to Windows Xp mode it should work out that way. If you have after fx version 8.0 it should work on vista even without changing the compatibility mode.

how are you gonna use when you are moving?
