Still doesn't debunk the fact that Nero's possess' the blood of Sparda. And it isn't a coincidence that he yells "Give me more power" just like Vergil did RIGHT after he revived Yamato(Vergil's signature sword) with his Devilbringer when Agnus failed.
@GrandGetsuga0 But he didn't quote Vergil to the word, Vergil said "I need more power" and like I said it's not like pretty much every DMC villain to date wanted exactly the same thing. It's not exclusive to one character.
Originally the DevilBringer was yellow not blue and the original designs for what Nero's DT would have looked like were Red, Black and Blue, the only thing that resembled Vergil on it was the scabbard. I think it had more to do with Sparda than Vergil, hence the love story.
But what other demon/char would echo such a voice and capable of reviving the sword simultaneously? It requires the blood of Sparda. Neither Sparda or Dante are people that craves power so Vergil is the only one left in the pick. Also, what is "original" is irrelevant to the final product. For example in FFXIII Lightning's hair was originally drawn brown. Now it is pink. There is no significance of the original color. It is like comparing a rough draft essay to a final draft.
The chronological order for the DMC series is DMC3, DMC2, DMC, Then DMC4, if you play the games in that order then the story becomes clear, the story doesnt change its just in a messed up chronological order, unlike many games htis series, will take you back and forth from present past and future, mostly present, and past
well seeing as all youre data is wrong ill enlighten you, it is a devils arm however, that is vergils power flowing in his veins, nero is related to sparda, which means its not direct to him but to one of his sons, vergil, the assaults arm might seem similar but, it might be that the devil bringer only awakened, after the demonic power harmed nero, in others words, nero is the grandson of sparda, thats why sanctus could use him instead of dante, doesnt that make sense, dont base info on pics
All i gotta say is that i cant wait for the Remake of Devil Cry 1, 2 ,3 for 360/ps3 who cares if nero is vergils son or not LOL!! even tho that would be pretty bad ass if he really is but who cares!
but if he Nero is vergil's son and have a DT why vergil is inside of him...
well vergil's body must be sealed in the Demon World and vergil needs a host to go there so he just remembered he got a son and he did go to nero's arm giving him even more power so instead of nero becoming a demon himself the demon goes out and fight alongside nero... to me is like a mastered version of DT
why does this even matter any more the already REBOOTED the DMC series and made DANTE look like a fagget :'( makes me wanna cry GOD DAMN YOU NINJA THEORY!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH D:<
capcom has said nero was vergil's son HOWEVER his powers(except 1) has no relation to vergil. its just the summoning swords. each decendant of sparda is diffrent from the last
@Cbev1994 Smalltime Capcom employees who wouldn't know for sure either way are said to have mentioned it but the only thing people really base it on is the fact that it is loosely hinted in a Novel that was made by a guy who wasn't even working for Capcom anymore. It's not like Kobayashi or Itsuno came out and said it was true, that never happened it's. Kobayashi infact said that he hated Vergil.
and also yamato responding almost instantly to his hand as if it were familiar.....and there is the big fact that virgils hand keeps poping out of the arm
very good points however the demon the was showed looked like the assaults that were taken hostage by the flower things. and how do you explain virgils "angel form" appearing for his DT? and he said it was an exile demon by what i know virgil was exiled <.< thats my argument don't flip out if i have things wrong only pointing out what i know and see
@omegasquad45 Fair enough but Vergil's demon form didn't have horns and looks pretty much nothing like the ghost behind Nero apart from the fact that it's blue. Only Nelo Angelo had horns and that wasn't actually Vergil it was only a demonic suit of armour Mundus created to house Vergils soul after he died. Even if it was Nelo the horns and build are totally wrong anyway. Personally I think it was meant to be either Nero's DT form or maybe even the Demon Yamato before it was a devil arm.
It has to be Vergil! In DMC3 Vergil says "I need more Power", and possessed-Nero, says, "From that day fourth, my arm changed. A voice echoed POWER, GIVE ME MORE POWER!" Nero is a half demon, but some lines suggest he is Sparda's descendent.
Berial "You are just like he was!" Nero, "And he would be?"
Angelo-Sanctum: "You have indeed inherited the blood of Sparda."
Vergil is his father, that's why Dante gave Nero Yamoto.
@AnimeGirl1723 Berial hadn't been to the human world in 2000 years, Vergil wasn't even alive 2000 years ago but Sparda was, he was talking about Sparda. Remember Yamato was Sparda's before it was Vergils. Claiming that Dante gave Nero Yamato because he knew something we didn't is kind of selling him short. It was meant to show that Dante is still a good guy, that he is not like his power obsessed brother and that he still sees humans fit to trust and fight for. A trust that Nero earned.
@darthkahn45 I know Berial was refferring to Sparda, I added that bc I commented Nero is Sparda's descendent/ grandson. I will miss Dante so much, I'll wait for the next installment of the DMC franchise (after DMC Reboot) and maybe I'll get to see Nero and Verigl again.
@Dennis23BAL Your hearing things it's a distorted grunt that doesn't sound like anybody. If it was so obvious someone would have pointed it out or tried to isolate it as proof but it's not there, people just really want it to be, like when they listen for words in backmasking, you ever tried listening to a backmasking clip without looking at the subtitles? If you don't know whats coming it just sounds like gibberish because our brains are able to connect dots that aren't there if we want them to
@TheNero589 Fair enough I was sad to see Nero's story get scrapped for a reboot but was kind of optimistic as before this I always said that if they made it so that Dante wasn't just a dick anymore and he had a bit more emotion and depth again the series wouldn't need Nero. Although personally I liked Nero just as much if not more than I ever loved Dante because he was such an impulsive little hothead which I thought was quite refreshing.
I'm not sure about this theory,I do know that in DMC3 Vergil will sometimes say "This may be fun."while battling Dante.I realized this yesterday that when you do a certain taunt(S rank I think)at the end of it Nero sais,"This may be fun."
Dont know if this means anything but I think its pretty odd that they both say that exact same phrase.Like this comment if you've also heard him say this.
@Carlos2006ful The Deadly Fortune manga wasn't canon and there is no way of knowing that it is as he wasn't working for Capcom anymore. It was totally freelance so it's no more canon than something one of us wrote.
@Chachuization Most of those things that people say about the new DMC are just frustrated assumtions based on his appearance, most of them aren't even suggested let alone confirmed. It's like assuming that Vergil is an anime stereotype just because of his hairstyle...which he kind of was come to think of it. Bad example but you get what I mean. We don't know anything about the new Dante yet people are just angry that his appearance has changed

the yamato was resurrected by a strong essence of demon power near by at that time nero was there and because of his anger or somewhat it triggered the devil bringer full potential and yamato sense that power and resurrected itself..SO YEA...
So Dante only fought Nero to confirm his family ties. Since Yamato was given to Vergil by his father, it only makes sense that Vergil would have a strong bond with it which would, theoretically, pass on to any children he might have.
@mtnetsurfer "It's gotta stay in the family" was a reason Dante gave for why he had to take it from Nero not why he decided to let him keep it watch the scene again, so many people make that mistake.
Vergil is perhaps the only member of the Sparda family should would never consider having a son, it doesn't make any sense at all. He was after his own power acquisition and nothing else he didn't even give his own brother a look in thats how selfish his goals were. Why would he need a son?
the only 2 reasons he would have a son is if he had sex with a hooker in Fortuna (thats doesn't fit, Vergil despises humans and all their pety weaknesses and desires, Vergil is stronger and colder than that surely you agree) or of he wanted someone to pass his power on to which again doesn't really fit because any power Vergil got hold of he would have never have let go of for anybody, he might have even lived forever. He wanted the power of his father for himself alone and nobody else.
@darthkahn45 I never said Virgil visited Fortuna. And you never know, Virgil's hatred for humans may have been acquired. In any case, you yourself mentioned that Nero was found as an orphan and brought to Fortuna by the Order of the Sword, maybe he was abandoned, either by Virgil himself or Nero's mother. If Virgil would attack his brother on sight, think how he might treat a son. Besides, you gotta think maybe Virgil had a contingency plan in case Dante defeated him.
@mtnetsurfer This is just my impression but Vergil doesn't seem like the pessimistic type. And if it was him he doesn't seem to have much of an influence over his host at this point.
Sorry I still just can't see this as anything more than Vergil fans refusing to let go and accept the possibility that he is dead and never coming back.
@darthkahn45 I never denied he was. Your video made it perfectly clear that Nero's arm is likely a from an Assault. I just gave my opinion into the origin of Nero himself, not his demon arm.
@Chachuization Yeah apparently Nero was found by Credo and Kyries parents as an orphan. And was teased because of it because almost all of the orphans in Fortuna were unwanted children of prostitutes.
Regarding Nero and Yamato's resurrection: I was always of the belief that Nero is actually Vergil's son. How else would explain that he is "descended from Sparda's blood." As far as I know, Sparda only had two kids, Vergil and Dante. And to the best of my knowledge, Dante is no daddy, so that leaves Vergil. And you have to admit, there is a family resemblance (just compare Vergil from DMC3 to Nero if you don't believe me). And Dante did say Yamato had to be kept in the family (cont)
@darthkahn45 they changed idea from a reboot to an origin story, so its now gonna be an origin story to dmc3 so i think its a prequel to the prequel of the series like how dante came onto his demonic half
@luluvibritania Isn't that what the third one was supposed to be about? Hense "Dante's Awakening". For 5 to make sense as a prequel to DMC3 Dante can't have a devil trigger and and surely you can't have Devil May Cry with no devil trigger.
@luluvibritania it says page not found. Apparently in interviews as such that have implied that it is both a reboot and a reimagining of Dante's origin. I think they have not given a definitive answer on purpose because they want attention.
@darthkahn45 that could be but its stupid what they are doing. i mean they introduced nero, gave him some mysterious power. Some sort of connection to Vergil is hinted. and they go and back step beyond 3 in a way. I just want the questions answered.
ok this is just my idea but if u look at the cutscene where nero's demonic power awakens the first thing he says is "from that day forth, my arm changed, and a voice echoed, power... give me more power!" and nero's connection with yamato... well he obviously has sparda's blood in him, sanctus even points it out for us... but if it could open the hell gate then it obviuosly has a LOT of power... and if u look at vergil's DT and nero's DT they dont look alike at all except for the arm sheath thing
Your theory does seem valid, but I must just point out the fact that Sanctus also mentioned that Nero carried the blood of Sparda. I too believe that Nero is no where near the Son/Avatar of Vergil but I just thought you might want to point that one out.
"Still, I must salute a man who carries the blood of Sparda" ~Sanctus, just after defeating him infront of the false savior.
Nero cant be the son of vergil cuz they dante and nero was teenager during dmc 3 and another if vergil pregnant a girl while he s a teen how come nero is like 20
@lloyd552 There was only supposedly 10 years between 3 and 1. Lady would have been nearly 50. The reason there are enemies like Frost and Assault in 4 is because the game is supposed to be set just after the Anime which was just after DMC1.
irrelevant now as the series has been rebooted and Nero can't be touched.
I am all for Vergil coming back now I just didn't want it to interfere with Nero or to happen in the 1-4 universe as he was supposed to have died in the first one.
@darthkahn45 yeah i was reading through stuff and the manga, novel, and game all pretty uch contradict eachother. dang it i wsh someone would make a dmc game that explained this >_<
i dont know why people keep saying the devil bringer is vergil because of the devil trigger.anyone who has payed part 3 should have noticed that dantes devil trigger changed when he swiched devil arms.pretty much showing that the form the holder takes depends on the devil arm their holding
I saw the trailer for DMC5, but is it really a reboot?
Seems like some poor bastard got tortured into thinking he's the son of sparda. So it COULD still be a part 5....or a whole new prologue. God so many questions >>;
@SonicRidder01 In an interview they basicly said that Dante needed to be updated, that he isn't cool anymore and that this was a retelling of his origin story.
All of it seems pointless to me nobody is complaining about how behind the times Dante is and how DMC3 didn't make sense. Having said that I am remaining optimistic and open minded as I didn't really like where DMC was going anyway.
Ah well. It still looks interesting atleast. Though I wounder where the thought "dante isnt cool anymore" crossed any of the developers minds, when that *one* character has a massive fan base and fan girls to boot'
lmao vergil is clearly his DT and the devil trigger is exactly the same colour as vergil was and the fact that nero is a decendent means nero is vergil or dantes so or an illegitimate son of sparda
@darthkahn45 umm explain why the Form of Vergil's Devil Trigger is behind Nero then when he unleashes Yamato's power? Considering Yamato was Vergil's Sword and considering the image only appears when Nero Unleashes Yamato's Power its only logical that the spirit or part of Vergil's Soul is contained in the blade. hell Nero could be Vergil's Reincarnation for all we know. his Backstory isnt even known too anyone yet. only the fact that he's a descended of sparda's blood.
@lagorbian Yamato wasn't Vergils sword it was originally Sparda's and Vergil inherited it from him.
Vergil's form never had horns like that, the only 2 similarities are that it is blue (the same colour as the arm which was originally bright Yellow but changed to blue) and the scabbard which is a feature of the sword's form and not a part of Vergil's DT like I said to cdmanjak.
@darthkahn45 if you did play dmc 1 you will know that the spirit behind nero in his DT form is corrupted vergils DT, or if you play dcm3SE and beat vergil must die you unlok super corrupted vergil costume (his DT is nelo angelo from dmc1)
@polloxkun Nelo Angelo's horns curve down is face and are about 3 times bigger. This phantom only has small horns coming out of the side of his head. Looks nothing like him.
Plus Nelo Angelo's armour wasn't even Vergil's form it was Mundus' form that he gave to him. Unlimited devil power in exchange for his will. If Vergil came back it would not look like Nelo.
@darthkahn45 well its your opinion but i tink that teres more people who tinks that nero is vergils son/vergils reencarnation/vergils soul its the devil bringer/ vergils soul its inside yamato than the people who tinks nero is not
@Timelord187 nope..not buying it yet, bingo wasn't even working for Capcom when he did that so i see it as just another fanfic atm.
DMC5 hasn't even been announced yet, like he knew what the story was going to be. What is it a secret or something? if they have the plot sorted out why have we been waiting for the past 2 years?
On top of that Kobayashi admitted that he HATES Vergil in an interview.
Not to mention how much of a contradiction a son would be to Vergil's character and motives.
@darthkahn45 way up the evidence, vergils lust for power, his half demon side, the fact yamato as vergils sword, nero repaired yamato, the devil bringer has the same need for power, nero has silver hair, has the same talents as vergil, dante entrusts yamato to nero by saying "thats the gift worth giving". there is no other explination, nero is the right age to be dantes nephew and vergils son.
@Timelord187 Yamato was Spardas sword not Vergil's, Vergil just inherited it, all the DMC villains wanted power, Nero's fighting style is nothing like Vergil's, the ghost looks and sounds nothing like Vergil, the gift thing had nothing to do with blood, Nero had just earned Dante's trust.
Vergil is about 18 in DMC3 and DMC4 is said to be about 10 years after 3 and Nero is apparently about 18 in it. Vergil would have had to concieve Nero at the age of about 10/11 years old. Unrealistic.
@darthkahn45 its not that realistic, demon children might have an advanced ageing..like dog years but backwards. you do know dmc3 comes before dmc 2, if you watch the anime it makes sense. there speculation that nero is the reincarnation of sparda direct from vergils seed
@darthkahn45 in the anime its the first time lady meets trish. the last episode right at the end , they talk about a big problem in a far office city. plus the fact dante's clothes are the same in the first game. he has rebellion. you meet spardas apprentice swordsmen....alot is revealed check it out
@Timelord187 Sorry yeah I did see that I just misread the comment thinking there was a part in the anime that proved he was Vergils son. But you were saying it was just a speculation.
i guess i'll put in my 2 cents. What's with the voice overlay in the game??? Vergils and Neros voice merging during DT :\ i've really noticed it especially with that barrage attack with yamato. Ashes to Ashes, sounds ALOT like Vergil but Dust to Dust is Nero. and at that part "Power, give me more, power" i could totally hear Vergils and Neros voice, so umm... ya
i played DMC4 after this, sounds like Vergil, and i've played DMC3 many times and i've also watched vids with Vergil, as well as i have him in my MUGEN, and it sounds like him
@darthkahn45 if you've played DMC 4 the sword Nero get is Vergil's and also in Nero's DT the gaint bule spirt thingy that behide Nero is Vergil's demon form
@darthkahn45 do you ever listen? dt form always were looking diferent. look how dante dt looked in dmc1,dmc2,dmc3 and now dmc4 all dt form looked diferent. so you think vergils dt can't be cganged? it can be and he is with horns, sparda had horns too remember, so why sons can't gave it?
@gerietis789 Assuming that it is Vergils DT even though we have never seen him take a form like that is just as plausible as assuming that it is Nero's own premature devil form. There is even scrapped art of what he would have looked like if he was given a full devil form and it looks exactly like the ghost.
i play the game almost everyday ya know, i can hear nero and vergil, i`m not talking about the give me more power part, i mean attacks and all that, not just that one part, i play before i comment
@KadzietWolf Yeah...so did I moments before I said that I did the showdown and the maximum bet just to make sure. And all I heard was a deep distorted grumble that sounded nothing like Vergil, in or out of demon form.
This is the same thing as people who think they see the word "sex" subliminally hidden all over the lion king. Your mind is finding significance in things that aren't really there because your so desperate to hear it and be right. Because that would be proof of Vergils return.
ok here's the cheese, we both don't know ANYTHING, i'm just basing off of what i see and hear. Vergil is a loved character and it's very possible that Nero has something to do with Vergil, his main color, his ties to Sparda, or he just may be another son of sparda and with being a son, he may have a connection with Vergil, no one knows, and you don't know either, you're just basing it off of old things too. and how things look, we just gotta wait for DMC5 to find out
then explain why the he has a devil trigger and why the devil trigger looks so much like vergil's,or even why he needed yamato to awaken it and please don't give that shit about it being a theory,if you are so sure it's not vergil, then explain in DETAIL,if not,you "theory" is just an empty one
@ChaosEmperorDragon00 Agnus had a devil trigger, Lucia had a devil trigger and neither are related to Sparda the only thing that is making it look like Vergils devil trigger is the fact that it's blue.
None of Vergils devil forms ever had horns (and thats Vergils forms not demonic armour given to him by Mundus)
The games have given no indication that he has anything to do with Vergil only that he is connected to Sparda somehow. Yamato was Sparda's first so being related in any way is enough.
@darthkahn45 so tell me why neros or vergil hand fixed yamato i think vergil had sealed his powers in yamato and neros arm. and before nero god yamato when his arm changed he heard a voice power gime me more power when he got yamato he fully awakes neros\vergil dt or later (dmc5) vergil maybe would control nero or he will escape from the arm or maybe somewhere vergil body is or in demon world or in human world and he will control nero to go after his body and return his soul to the real body.
@gerietis789 Vergils body was destoryed in DMC1 the only way Vergil could come back is only if his soul posesses Nero which would suck for him
Vergils body surviving would make no sense whatsoever as Mundus is a cold sob as it is, why would he allow a Son of Sparda to survive and let him go when he has total control over his defeated body which he now has no use for?
Why would he risk twice the threat against his reign?
Personally I just think people need to just let go of Vergil and move on.
@gerietis789 where did you know that vergils body is destroyed? maybe he flew aways like he did in dmc1 1st battle and 2nd battle he flew aways and maybe 3th time too. and another thing i think vergil body is still alive becouse virgil is twin brother to dante so they sould be the same height but vergil in dmc1 look very huge then dante thats make that vergil's soul was trapped in nelo angelo armor but the real body was somewhere else that would prove why he sealed power in nero hand and yamato.
Mundus' rules are that if can't get the job done you are no longer worthy and it applies to everyone. Why would he defeat Vergil after 3 and give him even the slightest chance to rise up against him ever again? He knows how dangerous the SoS are
When Dante activates his Majin DT in DMC2 he also becomes about a third taller Nelo was Vergil
Also the 'history of DMC' in the forth game describes Vergil as 'Dante's departed brother' and unlike 'defeated' that actually does mean dead
I never thought the Devil Bringer was Vergil, it was when he wielded Yamato and his Devil Trigger was awakened, and that large spirit behind him, I thought that spirit was Vergil's soul or something that was left over from Yamato, cause it really really looked like Vergil's Devil Trigger
@SaintSeiyaKing i think your right on that. i believe that vergils demonic form IS with nero through the yamato however i dont think that explains how nero is related to dante though....=/
Thats total rubbish and you know it. Those demons (you call creatures) are just mimicking value once again. Satanic blue print to startle the demons aggressor, demonic archaic science. Your definitely one unholy bottom aren't you? further more its probably, what is to come and its a form of demoned-spiritual ejaculation. In Nero's case a spiritual projection of a supernatural character on demon blood fire [his own wire].
well i guess they have some connection. coz those scientists tried to revive yamato (vergils sword) which was broken. But nero done it instantly. it makes sense coz they said he has the power of sparda and dante knew all about him from day one.
I think Nero's vergil's reincarnation. Or could just be corrupted by him. . . U guys remember the part when nero heard a voice saying " GIVE ME MORE POWER" when he acquired yamato for the first time. I think Yamato is a remnant or has a fragment of vergil's soul.
@darthkahn45 his arm was changed from the begining of the game just when he got yamato his mind was confuse and told to agnus what happend to his arm when it changed
@darthkahn45 i see what i really see i am not talking about neros arm but his dt. and another thing dante hands in dt forms mostly on dmc3 dmc4 has black color but his energy aura is red thats why nero's hand can be even green but he still has blue aura energy.
Nelo's Angelo armor was glowing in almost the same way as the devil bringer and it's line patterns too. If you unlock Nelo Angelo in DMC3 you'll see he that he blasts some power from his arm quite similar to the devil bringer's abilities. Nelo Angelo was vergil. The DMC 3 & 4 story is way before DMC 1 & 2, . . Meaning the 5th DMC will uncover nero's part in purpose for DMC 1 or 2. He could turn to Nelo Angelo. Well very unlikely. Since the Angelo Armors were first seen in created in Nero's time.
@xXEviLIntenTXx the storyline do not goes dmc3 dmc4 dmc1 dmc2 it is dmc3 dmc1 dmc4 dmc2 in wikipedia written. And yuor theory with nelo angelo mostly true but the storyline just bullshit
Your right my mistake. I didnt consider the women. The story begins with DMC 3 "Dante's Awakening" where he first meets vergil. second is DMC 1 when he encounters Trish and Nelo Angelo.Third is DMC 4 when Vergil Lastly reincarnates as a good guy Nero and thats the end with the vergil stuff. Fourth is DMC 2 when Dante gets really old and serious and goes to Hell on a motorcycle.
It makes more sense to me that Nero is Dante's son, likely with Lady, so he'd be 1/4 demon, which would explain why he doesn't really have a "Devil Trigger" as such. Wouldn't make sense to be Vergil's son 'cause he hated humans & the reincarnation idea sounds far-fetched to me.
@necroscar268 he is dantes son play the first game listen to what dante says after you kill the last dude "and when you do come back say hello to my son, will ya?"
@crissking2231 that was a joke if he nero would be dantes son dante wouldnt be fighting with him. Like i said nero is a lucky guy who got vergils power thats all
@gerietis789 bull crap if he was Dantes son he would too fight him, what dose a dad do to a kid with a snapy mouth dad teaches him a lesson. then theres all ways the excuse dante wants to see how strong he is.
and if you think about it he gets the devil trigger when he gets yamato, so its Virgil sould in the sword that makes his devil trigger that way
@crissking2231 I think he meant that more in the manner of saying "Someone from Sparda's bloodline will always be around to fight you off". I actually think Nero is Virgil's son. It would explain why he was an orphan, why he looks like both Dante and Vergil, and why Yamato resonated with him. As for the whole "need more power" thing, a sword like Yamato would likely carry a piece of its previous owners soul with it. That's just my theory though.
@SuigaRou Then wouldn't it make even more sense if he was Dante's son? Why would Vergil have any interest in women for any reason if he was only out to obtain power for himself? He didn't seem like the horny type like Dante
@darthkahn45 Yeah, but we don't know that much about Vergil's past. I mean, Dante does come off as the player type, but he never seems to take it seriously. I figure if anything, he'd have been with Lady by now, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I could see Vergil succumbing to a weakness like lust and abandoning a son while persuing power. I couldn't see Dante leaving a kid behind.
Hey wait... aren't you the same guy from the other vid? Fancy meeting you here, lol.
@SuigaRou he dosent necessarily leave Nero to be abandoned dante knew the kid would not have the best child hood while in his possession so he put him up for adoption with full intention of coming back later to see if hes power full enough to join the business
@SuigaRou he kinda has a point but Dante and Virgil look the same aether way you play it. the sword respoded to his power level increase, like date in 3 he obtained devil trigger when he got stabbed bye his own sword. Nero being near death has a power flux from his arm witch having the same energy as Virgil (due to his trigger being the same as Virgil's) the sword repaired itself to work aid Nero from dieing. and it dose not only work for Nero it works for Dante also (dark slayer)
Oh right, before i forget, what happens when you fire Nero's gun while in DT? The specter fires Summoned Swords just like Vergil does. Even the name if the attack is called Summoned Swords.
@AzureRoxe Credo uses 2 kinds of summoned swords does that mean Credo is Vergil too?
From the very first game DT appearence has changed depending on the weapon you are wileding and the only time you see Vergils DT with the scabbard fused to him arm is when he has Yamato equipped. When you equip Beowolf it disappears. Being it's first owner it would make more sense for Nero to be connected to Sparda himself.
@darthkahn45 That didn't disprove anything i said at all. In fact, you admited that Vergil DOES appear the same way as the specter when he has Yamato equiped [think about it, storyline based, do you really think appearence would change just because a different weapon is equiped? It's a gameplay thing, not a real thing that happens.]
@darthkahn45 Also, Nero's connection with Sparda is plausible [i'm sure you got that idea from another comment here based on this vid], but Sparda is never actually known for using the Yamato, he's known for using the Force Edge/Sparda.
@AzureRoxe This was never me claiming to know what Nero is all about. Vergil fans all instantly jumped to that conclusion and I am just taking a second look at it. The Vergil thoery is far from flawless just like mine. This is just to do with the fact that People who "know" it's Vergil are so obsessed and tunnel minded about it they aren't even willing to take other possibilities into consideration.
@darthkahn45 Oh right and Credo doesn't use the same Summoned Swords. Vergil and Nero use ethereal-looking while swords with a blue aura while Credo uses normal-looking swords sometimes with a yellow aura, but what most people see is Credo's spear attacks and not his sword attack [that again, looks nothing like Vergil's while Nero's looks exacly like them.]
One more thing though, Yamato did not appear in the anime.
GrandGetsuga0 4 months ago
Still doesn't debunk the fact that Nero's possess' the blood of Sparda. And it isn't a coincidence that he yells "Give me more power" just like Vergil did RIGHT after he revived Yamato(Vergil's signature sword) with his Devilbringer when Agnus failed.
GrandGetsuga0 4 months ago
@GrandGetsuga0 But he didn't quote Vergil to the word, Vergil said "I need more power" and like I said it's not like pretty much every DMC villain to date wanted exactly the same thing. It's not exclusive to one character.
Originally the DevilBringer was yellow not blue and the original designs for what Nero's DT would have looked like were Red, Black and Blue, the only thing that resembled Vergil on it was the scabbard. I think it had more to do with Sparda than Vergil, hence the love story.

@darthkahn45
GrandGetsuga0 4 months ago
The chronological order for the DMC series is DMC3, DMC2, DMC, Then DMC4, if you play the games in that order then the story becomes clear, the story doesnt change its just in a messed up chronological order, unlike many games htis series, will take you back and forth from present past and future, mostly present, and past
MegaCloud99 4 months ago
well seeing as all youre data is wrong ill enlighten you, it is a devils arm however, that is vergils power flowing in his veins, nero is related to sparda, which means its not direct to him but to one of his sons, vergil, the assaults arm might seem similar but, it might be that the devil bringer only awakened, after the demonic power harmed nero, in others words, nero is the grandson of sparda, thats why sanctus could use him instead of dante, doesnt that make sense, dont base info on pics
MegaCloud99 4 months ago
All i gotta say is that i cant wait for the Remake of Devil Cry 1, 2 ,3 for 360/ps3 who cares if nero is vergils son or not LOL!! even tho that would be pretty bad ass if he really is but who cares!

oops i confused things is red queen nero's sword i said blue rose lol sorry XD
Demolidorfoda 5 months ago
but if he Nero is vergil's son and have a DT why vergil is inside of him...
well vergil's body must be sealed in the Demon World and vergil needs a host to go there so he just remembered he got a son and he did go to nero's arm giving him even more power so instead of nero becoming a demon himself the demon goes out and fight alongside nero... to me is like a mastered version of DT
Demolidorfoda 5 months ago
i got the answers for you guys :D
At DMC1 in the prologue you can see sparda's story right?
it says that 2000 years ago!!! look 2000 years he had sealed the demon world
that means sparda will never become old so dante and vergil must have this same "ability" so vergil could have a son b4 DMC3
now the DT:
Nero's sword is Blue Rose right? and the DTs change becuz of the devil arms
and the blue rose goes out during DT so in my opinion vergil wears the blue rose while nero does the work wit yamato
Demolidorfoda 5 months ago
why does this even matter any more the already REBOOTED the DMC series and made DANTE look like a fagget :'( makes me wanna cry GOD DAMN YOU NINJA THEORY!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH D:<

capcom has said nero was vergil's son HOWEVER his powers(except 1) has no relation to vergil. its just the summoning swords. each decendant of sparda is diffrent from the last
Cbev1994 6 months ago
@Cbev1994 Smalltime Capcom employees who wouldn't know for sure either way are said to have mentioned it but the only thing people really base it on is the fact that it is loosely hinted in a Novel that was made by a guy who wasn't even working for Capcom anymore. It's not like Kobayashi or Itsuno came out and said it was true, that never happened it's. Kobayashi infact said that he hated Vergil.

omegasquad45 7 months ago
very good points however the demon the was showed looked like the assaults that were taken hostage by the flower things. and how do you explain virgils "angel form" appearing for his DT? and he said it was an exile demon by what i know virgil was exiled <.< thats my argument don't flip out if i have things wrong only pointing out what i know and see
omegasquad45 7 months ago
@omegasquad45 Fair enough but Vergil's demon form didn't have horns and looks pretty much nothing like the ghost behind Nero apart from the fact that it's blue. Only Nelo Angelo had horns and that wasn't actually Vergil it was only a demonic suit of armour Mundus created to house Vergils soul after he died. Even if it was Nelo the horns and build are totally wrong anyway. Personally I think it was meant to be either Nero's DT form or maybe even the Demon Yamato before it was a devil arm.
darthkahn45 7 months ago
@darthkahn45 TRue.maybe before sparda got yamato,it was probably a demon.that would explain how it has a ghostly form behind nero in DT mode.
pedros1212 7 months ago
It has to be Vergil! In DMC3 Vergil says "I need more Power", and possessed-Nero, says, "From that day fourth, my arm changed. A voice echoed POWER, GIVE ME MORE POWER!" Nero is a half demon, but some lines suggest he is Sparda's descendent.
Berial "You are just like he was!" Nero, "And he would be?"
Angelo-Sanctum: "You have indeed inherited the blood of Sparda."
Vergil is his father, that's why Dante gave Nero Yamoto.
Nero: "Hey you forgot this" (Yamoto)
Dante: "Keep it".
AnimeGirl1723 8 months ago
@AnimeGirl1723 Berial hadn't been to the human world in 2000 years, Vergil wasn't even alive 2000 years ago but Sparda was, he was talking about Sparda. Remember Yamato was Sparda's before it was Vergils. Claiming that Dante gave Nero Yamato because he knew something we didn't is kind of selling him short. It was meant to show that Dante is still a good guy, that he is not like his power obsessed brother and that he still sees humans fit to trust and fight for. A trust that Nero earned.
darthkahn45 8 months ago
@darthkahn45 I know Berial was refferring to Sparda, I added that bc I commented Nero is Sparda's descendent/ grandson. I will miss Dante so much, I'll wait for the next installment of the DMC franchise (after DMC Reboot) and maybe I'll get to see Nero and Verigl again.
AnimeGirl1723 8 months ago
@darthkahn45 Jsut listen closely to the voice when Nero's Devil Trigger is activated when you attack you can CLEARLY hear Vergils voice over Nero's!
Dennis23BAL 6 months ago
@Dennis23BAL Your hearing things it's a distorted grunt that doesn't sound like anybody. If it was so obvious someone would have pointed it out or tried to isolate it as proof but it's not there, people just really want it to be, like when they listen for words in backmasking, you ever tried listening to a backmasking clip without looking at the subtitles? If you don't know whats coming it just sounds like gibberish because our brains are able to connect dots that aren't there if we want them to
darthkahn45 6 months ago
@TheNero589 Fair enough I was sad to see Nero's story get scrapped for a reboot but was kind of optimistic as before this I always said that if they made it so that Dante wasn't just a dick anymore and he had a bit more emotion and depth again the series wouldn't need Nero. Although personally I liked Nero just as much if not more than I ever loved Dante because he was such an impulsive little hothead which I thought was quite refreshing.
darthkahn45 8 months ago
I'm not sure about this theory,I do know that in DMC3 Vergil will sometimes say "This may be fun."while battling Dante.I realized this yesterday that when you do a certain taunt(S rank I think)at the end of it Nero sais,"This may be fun."
Dont know if this means anything but I think its pretty odd that they both say that exact same phrase.Like this comment if you've also heard him say this.

darknessfalls111 11 months ago
So Dante only fought Nero to confirm his family ties. Since Yamato was given to Vergil by his father, it only makes sense that Vergil would have a strong bond with it which would, theoretically, pass on to any children he might have.
mtnetsurfer 1 year ago
@mtnetsurfer "It's gotta stay in the family" was a reason Dante gave for why he had to take it from Nero not why he decided to let him keep it watch the scene again, so many people make that mistake.
Vergil is perhaps the only member of the Sparda family should would never consider having a son, it doesn't make any sense at all. He was after his own power acquisition and nothing else he didn't even give his own brother a look in thats how selfish his goals were. Why would he need a son?
darthkahn45 1 year ago
the only 2 reasons he would have a son is if he had sex with a hooker in Fortuna (thats doesn't fit, Vergil despises humans and all their pety weaknesses and desires, Vergil is stronger and colder than that surely you agree) or of he wanted someone to pass his power on to which again doesn't really fit because any power Vergil got hold of he would have never have let go of for anybody, he might have even lived forever. He wanted the power of his father for himself alone and nobody else.
darthkahn45 1 year ago
@darthkahn45 I never said Virgil visited Fortuna. And you never know, Virgil's hatred for humans may have been acquired. In any case, you yourself mentioned that Nero was found as an orphan and brought to Fortuna by the Order of the Sword, maybe he was abandoned, either by Virgil himself or Nero's mother. If Virgil would attack his brother on sight, think how he might treat a son. Besides, you gotta think maybe Virgil had a contingency plan in case Dante defeated him.
mtnetsurfer 1 year ago
@mtnetsurfer This is just my impression but Vergil doesn't seem like the pessimistic type. And if it was him he doesn't seem to have much of an influence over his host at this point.
Sorry I still just can't see this as anything more than Vergil fans refusing to let go and accept the possibility that he is dead and never coming back.
darthkahn45 1 year ago
@darthkahn45 I never denied he was. Your video made it perfectly clear that Nero's arm is likely a from an Assault. I just gave my opinion into the origin of Nero himself, not his demon arm.

@Chachuization Yeah apparently Nero was found by Credo and Kyries parents as an orphan. And was teased because of it because almost all of the orphans in Fortuna were unwanted children of prostitutes.
darthkahn45 10 months ago
Regarding Nero and Yamato's resurrection: I was always of the belief that Nero is actually Vergil's son. How else would explain that he is "descended from Sparda's blood." As far as I know, Sparda only had two kids, Vergil and Dante. And to the best of my knowledge, Dante is no daddy, so that leaves Vergil. And you have to admit, there is a family resemblance (just compare Vergil from DMC3 to Nero if you don't believe me). And Dante did say Yamato had to be kept in the family (cont)

@luluvibritania Isn't that what the third one was supposed to be about? Hense "Dante's Awakening". For 5 to make sense as a prequel to DMC3 Dante can't have a devil trigger and and surely you can't have Devil May Cry with no devil trigger.

u make a good point
but its tht Nero had the blood of Sparda
Vergils weapon was Yamato
Nero's spirit was Yamato
Nero looks very similar 2 Sparda & his sons
Nero's temper is wat Dante's used 2 be
had we eva thought tht Nero was another son of Sparda
TheNecronctan 1 year ago
ok this is just my idea but if u look at the cutscene where nero's demonic power awakens the first thing he says is "from that day forth, my arm changed, and a voice echoed, power... give me more power!" and nero's connection with yamato... well he obviously has sparda's blood in him, sanctus even points it out for us... but if it could open the hell gate then it obviuosly has a LOT of power... and if u look at vergil's DT and nero's DT they dont look alike at all except for the arm sheath thing

That ghost was originally supposed to be Nero's blue and red DT ill send you the picture of the scrapped concept art if you like.
darthkahn45 1 year ago
@darthkahn45 umm explain why the Form of Vergil's Devil Trigger is behind Nero then when he unleashes Yamato's power? Considering Yamato was Vergil's Sword and considering the image only appears when Nero Unleashes Yamato's Power its only logical that the spirit or part of Vergil's Soul is contained in the blade. hell Nero could be Vergil's Reincarnation for all we know. his Backstory isnt even known too anyone yet. only the fact that he's a descended of sparda's blood.
lagorbian 1 year ago
@lagorbian Yamato wasn't Vergils sword it was originally Sparda's and Vergil inherited it from him.
Vergil's form never had horns like that, the only 2 similarities are that it is blue (the same colour as the arm which was originally bright Yellow but changed to blue) and the scabbard which is a feature of the sword's form and not a part of Vergil's DT like I said to cdmanjak.
darthkahn45 1 year ago
@darthkahn45 if you did play dmc 1 you will know that the spirit behind nero in his DT form is corrupted vergils DT, or if you play dcm3SE and beat vergil must die you unlok super corrupted vergil costume (his DT is nelo angelo from dmc1)

Timelord187 1 year ago
@Timelord187 nope..not buying it yet, bingo wasn't even working for Capcom when he did that so i see it as just another fanfic atm.
DMC5 hasn't even been announced yet, like he knew what the story was going to be. What is it a secret or something? if they have the plot sorted out why have we been waiting for the past 2 years?
On top of that Kobayashi admitted that he HATES Vergil in an interview.
Not to mention how much of a contradiction a son would be to Vergil's character and motives.
darthkahn45 1 year ago
@darthkahn45 way up the evidence, vergils lust for power, his half demon side, the fact yamato as vergils sword, nero repaired yamato, the devil bringer has the same need for power, nero has silver hair, has the same talents as vergil, dante entrusts yamato to nero by saying "thats the gift worth giving". there is no other explination, nero is the right age to be dantes nephew and vergils son.
Timelord187 1 year ago
@Timelord187 Yamato was Spardas sword not Vergil's, Vergil just inherited it, all the DMC villains wanted power, Nero's fighting style is nothing like Vergil's, the ghost looks and sounds nothing like Vergil, the gift thing had nothing to do with blood, Nero had just earned Dante's trust.
Vergil is about 18 in DMC3 and DMC4 is said to be about 10 years after 3 and Nero is apparently about 18 in it. Vergil would have had to concieve Nero at the age of about 10/11 years old. Unrealistic.
darthkahn45 1 year ago
@darthkahn45 its not that realistic, demon children might have an advanced ageing..like dog years but backwards. you do know dmc3 comes before dmc 2, if you watch the anime it makes sense. there speculation that nero is the reincarnation of sparda direct from vergils seed

i guess i'll put in my 2 cents. What's with the voice overlay in the game??? Vergils and Neros voice merging during DT :\ i've really noticed it especially with that barrage attack with yamato. @gerietis789 Assuming that it is Vergils DT even though we have never seen him take a form like that is just as plausible as assuming that it is Nero's own premature devil form. i play the game almost everyday ya know, i can hear nero and vergil, i`m not talking about the give me more power part, i mean attacks and all that, not just that one part, i play before i comment
KadzietWolf 1 year ago
@KadzietWolf Yeah...so did I moments before I said that I did the showdown and the maximum bet just to make sure. And all I heard was a deep distorted grumble that sounded nothing like Vergil, in or out of demon form.
This is the same thing as people who think they see the word "sex" subliminally hidden all over the lion king. Your mind is finding significance in things that aren't really there because your so desperate to hear it and be right. Because that would be proof of Vergils return.
darthkahn45 1 year ago
@darthkahn45
ok here's the cheese, we both don't know ANYTHING, i'm just basing off of what i see and hear. Vergil is a loved character and it's very possible that Nero has something to do with Vergil, his main color, his ties to Sparda, or he just may be another son of sparda and with being a son, he may have a connection with Vergil, no one knows, and you don't know either, you're just basing it off of old things too. and how things look, we just gotta wait for DMC5 to find out
KadzietWolf 1 year ago
then explain why the he has a devil trigger and why the devil trigger looks so much like vergil's,or even why he needed yamato to awaken it and please don't give that shit about it being a theory,if you are so sure it's not vergil, then explain in DETAIL,if not,you "theory" is just an empty one
ChaosEmperorDragon00 1 year ago
@ChaosEmperorDragon00 Agnus had a devil trigger, Lucia had a devil trigger and neither are related to Sparda the only thing that is making it look like Vergils devil trigger is the fact that it's blue.
None of Vergils devil forms ever had horns (and thats Vergils forms not demonic armour given to him by Mundus)
The games have given no indication that he has anything to do with Vergil only that he is connected to Sparda somehow. Yamato was Sparda's first so being related in any way is enough.
darthkahn45 1 year ago
@darthkahn45 if you dont know devil triger always look diferent in all dmc games so nero\vergils dt can chamge too
gerietis789 1 year ago
@darthkahn45 so tell me why neros or vergil hand fixed yamato i think vergil had sealed his powers in yamato and neros arm. and before nero god yamato when his arm changed he heard a voice power gime me more power when he got yamato he fully awakes neros\vergil dt or later (dmc5) vergil maybe would control nero or he will escape from the arm or maybe somewhere vergil body is or in demon world or in human world and he will control nero to go after his body and return his soul to the real body.
gerietis789 1 year ago
@gerietis789 Vergils body was destoryed in DMC1 the only way Vergil could come back is only if his soul posesses Nero which would suck for him
Vergils body surviving would make no sense whatsoever as Mundus is a cold sob as it is, why would he allow a Son of Sparda to survive and let him go when he has total control over his defeated body which he now has no use for?
Why would he risk twice the threat against his reign?
Personally I just think people need to just let go of Vergil and move on.
darthkahn45 1 year ago
@gerietis789 where did you know that vergils body is destroyed? maybe he flew aways like he did in dmc1 1st battle and 2nd battle he flew aways and maybe 3th time too. and another thing i think vergil body is still alive becouse virgil is twin brother to dante so they sould be the same height but vergil in dmc1 look very huge then dante thats make that vergil's soul was trapped in nelo angelo armor but the real body was somewhere else that would prove why he sealed power in nero hand and yamato.
gerietis789 1 year ago
@gerietis789

The guy from the anime is Sid. You know, the scranny demon that wanted more power.

SaintSeiyaKing 1 year ago
@SaintSeiyaKing i think your right on that. i believe that vergils demonic form IS with nero through the yamato however i dont think that explains how nero is related to dante though....=/
racanis 1 year ago
Thats total rubbish and you know it. Those demons (you call creatures) are just mimicking value once again. Satanic blue print to startle the demons aggressor, demonic archaic science. Your definitely one unholy bottom aren't you? further more its probably, what is to come and its a form of demoned-spiritual ejaculation. In Nero's case a spiritual projection of a supernatural character on demon blood fire [his own wire].
Sinisterappearance1 1 year ago
@Sinisterappearance1 What are you on about?
darthkahn45 1 year ago
well i guess they have some connection. coz those scientists tried to revive yamato (vergils sword) which was broken. But nero done it instantly. it makes sense coz they said he has the power of sparda and dante knew all about him from day one.

you have a point but what about his arm fixed the yamato sword?

you have a point but what about his arm fixed the dword?
neroinaction 1 year ago
I think Nero's vergil's reincarnation. Or could just be corrupted by him. . . U guys remember the part when nero heard a voice saying " GIVE ME MORE POWER" when he acquired yamato for the first time. I think Yamato is a remnant or has a fragment of vergil's soul.
xXEviLIntenTXx 1 year ago
@xXEviLIntenTXx he said when his arm change not when he got yamato
gerietis789 1 year ago
@gerietis789 His arm changed the same day he got Yamato didn't it?
darthkahn45 1 year ago
@darthkahn45 his arm was changed from the begining of the game just when he got yamato his mind was confuse and told to agnus what happend to his arm when it changed
gerietis789 1 year ago
His arm did not change. Yamato tiggered the devil within nero. Makes sense Yamato unlocks things because it's after all the key to the hell gates.
I have proof Nero is related to vergil. Look at the Devil Bringer arm and Nelo Angelo in DMC 1. Ring any bells?
xXEviLIntenTXx 1 year ago
@xXEviLIntenTXx Yeah?..neither are the same colour or shape whats your point?
darthkahn45 1 year ago
@darthkahn45 colour is the same blue nero fanboy:D
gerietis789 1 year ago
@gerietis789 Nelo's arms are black with a hint of green and Nero's arm is red and blue. Your only seeing what you want to see.
Not only that Nelo Angelo itself had nothing to do with Vergil, the armour was created by Mundus.
darthkahn45 1 year ago
@darthkahn45 i see what i really see i am not talking about neros arm but his dt. and another thing dante hands in dt forms mostly on dmc3 dmc4 has black color but his energy aura is red thats why nero's hand can be even green but he still has blue aura energy.
gerietis789 1 year ago
Nelo's Angelo armor was glowing in almost the same way as the devil bringer and it's line patterns too. If you unlock Nelo Angelo in DMC3 you'll see he that he blasts some power from his arm quite similar to the devil bringer's abilities. Nelo Angelo was vergil. The DMC 3 & 4 story is way before DMC 1 & 2, . . Meaning the 5th DMC will uncover nero's part in purpose for DMC 1 or 2. He could turn to Nelo Angelo. Well very unlikely. Since the Angelo Armors were first seen in created in Nero's time.
xXEviLIntenTXx 1 year ago
@xXEviLIntenTXx the storyline do not goes dmc3 dmc4 dmc1 dmc2 it is dmc3 dmc1 dmc4 dmc2 in wikipedia written. And yuor theory with nelo angelo mostly true but the storyline just bullshit
gerietis789 1 year ago

Wouldn't make sense to be Vergil's son 'cause he hated humans & the reincarnation idea sounds far-fetched to me.
necroscar268 1 year ago
@necroscar268 he is dantes son play the first game listen to what dante says after you kill the last dude "and when you do come back say hello to my son, will ya?"
crissking2231 1 year ago
@crissking2231 that was a joke if he nero would be dantes son dante wouldnt be fighting with him. Like i said nero is a lucky guy who got vergils power thats all
gerietis789 1 year ago
@gerietis789 bull crap if he was Dantes son he would too fight him, what dose a dad do to a kid with a snapy mouth dad teaches him a lesson. then theres all ways the excuse dante wants to see how strong he is.
and if you think about it he gets the devil trigger when he gets yamato, so its Virgil sould in the sword that makes his devil trigger that way
crissking2231 1 year ago
@crissking2231 then who is dante girlfriend or neros mom dont make funny theorys
gerietis789 1 year ago
@gerietis789 that's easy its trish
crissking2231 1 year ago
@crissking2231 I think he meant that more in the manner of saying "Someone from Sparda's bloodline will always be around to fight you off". I actually think Nero is Virgil's son. It would explain why he was an orphan, why he looks like both Dante and Vergil, and why Yamato resonated with him. As for the whole "need more power" thing, a sword like Yamato would likely carry a piece of its previous owners soul with it. That's just my theory though.
SuigaRou 1 year ago
@SuigaRou Then wouldn't it make even more sense if he was Dante's son? Why would Vergil have any interest in women for any reason if he was only out to obtain power for himself? He didn't seem like the horny type like Dante
darthkahn45 1 year ago
@darthkahn45 Yeah, but we don't know that much about Vergil's past. I mean, Dante does come off as the player type, but he never seems to take it seriously. I figure if anything, he'd have been with Lady by now, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I could see Vergil succumbing to a weakness like lust and abandoning a son while persuing power. I couldn't see Dante leaving a kid behind.
Hey wait... aren't you the same guy from the other vid? Fancy meeting you here, lol.
SuigaRou 1 year ago
@SuigaRou lol yeah they are both my uploads.
darthkahn45 1 year ago
@SuigaRou he dosent necessarily leave Nero to be abandoned dante knew the kid would not have the best child hood while in his possession so he put him up for adoption with full intention of coming back later to see if hes power full enough to join the business
crissking2231 1 year ago
@SuigaRou he kinda has a point but Dante and Virgil look the same aether way you play it. the sword respoded to his power level increase, like date in 3 he obtained devil trigger when he got stabbed bye his own sword. Nero being near death has a power flux from his arm witch having the same energy as Virgil (due to his trigger being the same as Virgil's) the sword repaired itself to work aid Nero from dieing. and it dose not only work for Nero it works for Dante also (dark slayer)
crissking2231 1 year ago
Oh right, before i forget, what happens when you fire Nero's gun while in DT? The specter fires Summoned Swords just like Vergil does. Even the name if the attack is called Summoned Swords.
AzureRoxe 1 year ago
@AzureRoxe Credo uses 2 kinds of summoned swords does that mean Credo is Vergil too?
From the very first game DT appearence has changed depending on the weapon you are wileding and the only time you see Vergils DT with the scabbard fused to him arm is when he has Yamato equipped. When you equip Beowolf it disappears. Being it's first owner it would make more sense for Nero to be connected to Sparda himself.
darthkahn45 1 year ago
@darthkahn45 That didn't disprove anything i said at all. In fact, you admited that Vergil DOES appear the same way as the specter when he has Yamato equiped [think about it, storyline based, do you really think appearence would change just because a different weapon is equiped? It's a gameplay thing, not a real thing that happens.]
AzureRoxe 1 year ago
@darthkahn45 Also, Nero's connection with Sparda is plausible [i'm sure you got that idea from another comment here based on this vid], but Sparda is never actually known for using the Yamato, he's known for using the Force Edge/Sparda.
AzureRoxe 1 year ago
@AzureRoxe This was never me claiming to know what Nero is all about. Vergil fans all instantly jumped to that conclusion and I am just taking a second look at it. The Vergil thoery is far from flawless just like mine. This is just to do with the fact that People who "know" it's Vergil are so obsessed and tunnel minded about it they aren't even willing to take other possibilities into consideration.
darthkahn45 1 year ago
@darthkahn45 Now that makes a lot more sence that what this whole video said.
AzureRoxe 1 year ago
@darthkahn45 Oh right and Credo doesn't use the same Summoned Swords. Vergil and Nero use ethereal-looking while swords with a blue aura while Credo uses normal-looking swords sometimes with a yellow aura, but what most people see is Credo's spear attacks and not his sword attack [that again, looks nothing like Vergil's while Nero's looks exacly like them.]
AzureRoxe 1 year ago
@AzureRoxe Forgetting to mention that the shape of the swords that Nero use and the swords Vergil use look nothing alike.
