So Im looking into buying a guitar, the problem is im left handed, i'd like to play similar style songs (lamb of god, pantera, testament, etc) and am deciding between a dean flying v (about 250) or a jackson for around 600, which is better?

you can always buy the cheaper one and put different pick ups in it but if you're just starting i don't see why you would spend so much. You can never get rid of a guitar that feels cheap though probably should shop around a little more something around 400$ i think is good for beginners and down the road it wont feel so cheap in your hands. Trust me i did that when i first started i bought the cheaper one and like 2 months into it I was disappointed with it already.
