You know, for all the times people dismiss Radiohead as whiny and depressing, this has to be one of the most uplifting songs I've ever heard. When I listen to it I always feel so alive, like I'm on top of the world and nothing can stop me feeling the greatness.

I'm just saying that some people think all of Radiohead's songs are dreary yet this one is hugely uplifting.

I like that most of Radiohead's songs are dark or deal with challenging subject matter. Because then, when you hear a Radiohead song like this, it's so much more uplifting.

The only reason you wouldn't like this album is because your Radiohead journey didn't begin with it. If you were there from the get-go, you more than appreciate it. I think some of their best stuff is on this rookie release.

All I know is that Fake Plastic Trees, High and Dry, Nice Dream and Street Spirit are beautifulllllllll songs. I love those songs, and I should listen to others from The Bends :P

This isn't the worst of Radiohead... in fact, Pablo Honey sounds kind of similar to the Bends, which I LOVED. Plus, the fact that it's their first album makes it even more impressive that it's so good.

This album is looked down upon because it is where Radiohead was still emerging from a 'rock and roll' kind of image. It wasn't until after Ok Computer that the band formed into what we know as Radiohead today: confident music based upon a huge variety of different sounds and ideas.
