I remember last summer, I actually performed the Beethoven 9th Symphony in China, with two performances once in the Forbidden City and in the Shanghai Opera House in Shanghai. The other big piece we performed was a couple of movements from The Yellow River Cantata. The last movement with Voices, and the guest pianist performed this. This was the first time I cried at a piano performance. So I fell in love with this cantata.
