  • 80's FOREVER!!!!

  • Horrible music!

  • Where's E.T, Altered States, Crocodile Dundee, Blue Velvet, Risky Business, Fast Times At Ridgemont High, Childs Play, The Toxic Avenger, Sophie's Choice, The Karate Kid, Airplane, Naked Gun, Cocoon, Aliens, Fatal Attraction, First Blood, Body Heat, The Big Chill, Das Boot, Brazil, Colors. Full Metal Jacket, A Christmas Story, The Outsiders, Heavy Metal, Mask, The Lost Boys, or An Officer And A Gentleman?

  • i love the 80s right on cool

  • someone please tell me what movie is that in 0:59

  • @EagleMarine2012 bill and teds magnificent journey

  • @lins12341 it actually turns out to be 'bill and Ted's excellent adventure'

  • Wow, very creative editing. LIKE! :-D

  • The 80s had some great films for sure. Raging Bull, Once Upon a Time in America, Platoon, The Untouchables, The Shining, Scarface, Aliens, Wall Street, Full Metal Jacket etc. but overall its a pretty bad decade for film in comparison to others. It was more or less the decade of corny sci-fi films and bad special effects. Great video though.

  • 5:10 = Not winning.

  • now adays if you want a 40 to 50yld ladie to suck on your Cock you have to pay her however years ago it was never that case

  • lmfao what was with the big bird north by northwest parody @ 2:51

  • This was a realy good video. It included films that most others don't.

  • 70's wasn't all that great but the 80's was awsome and I could live it all over again.

  • Caddyshack 4 the Win!

  • aesthetically, "the evil dead" is more 1970s than 1980s, it has the 70s grittiness and low budget DYI style that most low budget 70s movies had, and has that memorability that the 70s flicks shared.

(if you disagree look up what "aesthetically" means first)

  • @wejw14 I can agree with that.

  • You should do a tribute to the best films of the 1990s.

  • @nick33304 I have. it's on Bennett Media

  • @barringer82 thanks

  • @barringer82 Thanks, the 1990s was a good one too, just wish The Shawshank Redemption was a part of it.

  • You totally missed one of the best movies in the 80's! STAND BY ME!?

  • the 1980s were better times more normal people you did not have men getting married to other men all these different white american women fucking black men an all the other crazy stuff you have today it was different back then you could find A normal white american household but not today all you epople are brainwashed eventully faggots will start turning up in the movies as well an good straight actors will become obselete this is very sad what has happaned to people i dont know

  • is local hero on here

  • OH! And how many of you, while watching Arnold tear someone's heart out of their chest in THE TERMINATOR thought back in the 1980s that here was the future Governor of California and future President of the United States?

  • Excellent video dude! It was awesome, rad, and totally gnarly! : D

My favorite 80s? Back to the Future. But the Empire Strikes back is also my favorite. As is The Terminator and Raiders. And is that The Thing at 1:05? If so, then that's my favorite too. Die Hard, Nightmare on Elm Street, the Evil Dead and Bettlejuice are also my favorites.

@ 1:52 - "Hey you hippies! Get your butts off the road!" Bonus points if you know what movie that came from.

  • Full Metal Jacket?

  • I love back to the future!

  • dont mean to sound revolting, but how come patrick swayze could dance so good?

  • No decade, and I mean no decade can be as a good or better than the 1980s.

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles came out in 1990.

  • @barringer82

Nicely done with an patriotic stars and banner theme that was featured in Poltergeist and signing off with Bill Contis theme to The Right Stuff. You missed out Return of the Jedi but who cares, it was nicely edited along smooth fading of the music cutting in. Ive seen 98% of the films featured in this video.

  • In oder for you to enjoy the 80's you had to be born at least in 1975. i was born 1967 and was a teenager in the 1980's the best times of my life. I love the 80's to this date 2010. I wish i could go back in time.

  • I agree great job on the montague of 80s movies, there really were a load of great movies from that era and it's great to see them altogether in one video. The music worked throught out too. Great Job!

  • Dude, your video is really awesome ! I love it and I watched it maybe 5 time... Any 90's or maybe 60's ? More difficult I guess... Anyway, congratulations, u made a fucking good job !

  • This video should be shown at the academy awards as a tribute to 80s movies.

  • Really nicely edited film! Some great clips from some fantastic 80s movies. This is a great vid for 1980s movie quizzes - ie. Guess the film...I was a little perturbed by the one film I couldn't place: at 2.46...but a little research tells me its probably Little Monsters (I think it's the only one I've not seen from this collection!).

How did you get all those clips on to your comp without totalling your hard drive space btw? What editing software did you use/and what file formats for clips?

  • Anybody know what the two pieces of music are (besides the national anthem, of course)?

  • I'm pretty sure that the second one [The orchestral piece] is from the movie it shows just as it kicks in, "The Right Stuff" written by Bill Conti. Hope that helps some.

  • Thank you!

  • You forgot The Goonies (1985)

  • You forgot Aliens (1986)

    Great video though.

  • it would be good if you could name all the movies

  • Good job I loved it the only one you forgot is E.T. It was very nice of you to think of the late Heather O'rourke of poltergeist though.
