Personally, I find it a little bit offensive. I do agree that it's a extraordinary piece of art - a piece that provokes, and stirrs strong reactions, but is it what we need from modern art? EU should be about finding common points, not about finding stereotypes, and constantly reminding about the past. First of all I had a good laugh as I saw the artwork. At a closer look, at some countries, I was a bit concerned about the intention. Czechs love controverse people, but not in terms of offending or insulting, they love people who dont stay in line and follow strict orders and rites. And concerning the german part of the artwork: it shows a deformed symbol which stood for terror, fashism and raccism, genocide, that symbol is deformed, defect and builded now with streets

Out of the fallen, crashed, deformed symbol of horror now comes the symbol for traffic, together, linkage between all folks. This is just a joke, nothing else :) And actually, I like it. Mostly it's making fun of our Czech Republic :) Because the author perfectly cheated contract, government and bureaux. And did that with honor :D
