Thats how i want my ford to be!! But i need some insight i have a 400ci motor now should i build that up or swap it for the 460ci motor? I have a very mild 4" lift now but i am going to go taller. Not to radical cause i do drive it on the streets from time to time especially in the winter. Its got a 9" rear and dana 44 front. Any ideas what to do to beef this truck up? Its a 77 f150. Got some videos of it. Any help is appreciated

@dkhill27 Depends on how serious ya wanna get with it. I've seen 460's do a good job as a mud truck motor, but if ya wanna get serious, nothin beats a BBC. The axles ya got otta be fine for what you're doing...

What gears are in the black 90's model ford and also what gears are in the explorer? My buddy has a sbc with 9 inches of lift, 205 t-case, corporate 14 rear, dana 60 front, 4:56 gears with detroit lockers front and rear sittin on 42 super swampers and he does damn good but them two trucks were gettin it. The last one looks like it could use just a tad lower gears, great vid tho man, definitely gotta show my buddies.

@sfloridamudbogger both trucks run a 205 case with rockwell axles that have 6,72 gears , the truck runs a 4 speed tranny and the explorer runs a c6 tranny

@TheMudbogger79 I hope that doesn't mean the truck has a 700r4. We have blown up 14 700rd trannies, My buddy on the other hand has a th400 with overdrive so he calls it a 4 speed, but really it's a 3 speed. Either way bubba ya'lls trucks are bad as hell.
