  • Ya know if you were to actually program those lights that are run on DMX, you'll get a lot more use out of them. You can focus on the floor a lot more and they end up being a lot more impressive than just random flast flickering

  • Stefan - I was going through your YT video's and watching some of your older ones - How much things have changed over the year and since coming back from MBLV with regards to gear and everything else! Keep up the good work!

  • @naveen4nse haha, oh man, i'm sure it has!! i will go back and watch some at one point to see the difference!

  • Nice gig Stef! May I know the title of the song starting @ 5:00 ?

  • GREAT JOB.. yOU STYLE OF SET UP IS LIKE MINE IN tORONTO. i HAVE A QUESTION> wHERE DID YOU GET YOUR LAPTOP SIGN IT LOOKS AWESOME. sTEF GREAT JOB AND KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK

  • Isn't it great when you can have a blast at what your doing and get paid as well?! I have to say that the covers really make your setup look good. Your going to have fun controlling the par cans behind the skirts when you move into DMX. Well Done.

  • thanks!! yeah, should be fun with dmx! over the winter slower months I'm going to do that!

  • stephan - what camera do you use to take your gig logs? i love your setup, very flush, neat, and clean

you were even jamming behind the DJ booth - something I am to shy to do :)

how do you get those speaker pole covers?

  • hey naveen! Thanks man.

The camera i'm using is the Canon PowerShot SX200, I'm taking the video in HD.

The speaker covers are from scrim-king, they're made for that, they "hang" on the feet on the bottom of the stand, and I use a c-clamp on under the speaker to hold it up.

  • steph - what program do you use to make the intro to your gig log??

  • I'm using Pinnacle Studio, great program.

  • yo whats up how did u get your logo on the front of your laptop

    -DJ CD

  • Hey! hehe :)

ya i did, was really cool!

  • Damn the setup looked so sweet. I am really feeling those glowskirts. You and V.V. have me wanting to get some now. LOL. love the new website. Simple and clean just like your setup!

From 7:00 - 8:00 you can see your enjoyment was effecting the crowd and it got them moving even more. Shows that the DJ's body language can help move a crowd.

Keep it up and thanks for sharing.

  • Hey man, thanks a lot! And thanks for checking the site and feedback too!

Ah yeah I was dancing all over the place up there!

  • Fun Factory >> Real McCoy >> Culture Beat!!!!

Yes, Yes and Hell Yes!!! 90's dance rules!!!!

  • Thanks Jasper!!

    Oh yeah 90's baby!!

  • I think I am gonna try and record a 90's dance mix this weekend...thanks for the idea!

  • Oh yeah! very nice! Can't wait to see it! with the last couple gigs being 90's dancy, I too was thinking of pulling out my turntables and doing a 10 min mix with my 90's vinyl !!

  • Very nice looking setup and great gig! What do you think of your intimidator 1.0s? Im having an internal debate between getting 2 of those for $180 each or 2 chauvet min spots for over $400 each...

  • Hey! Thanks! the intimidators do a good job, compact yet quite effective, and for the price used its a great deal. they don't have all the bells and whistles of other bigger scanners, but I do like them. Eventually i want to get a sweet pair of scanners or moving heads but these are really good to start. The min spots look pretty nice too, but maybe worth saving more to get better moving heads if you're gonna go the moving head route.

  • Thanks for the advice! Have you ever had any problems with the power recepticles on the intimidators? I came across a video review that has me a little concerned..

  • When i was doing my research on them, I saw that vid too.. No I have not had that problem.
