Awesome build Joel. Checked out your pics of the bike on your MySpace. Very sweet, you deserve huge props for your accomplishments, homebrew choppers don't get much better than this.

PLEASE, tell us what springer have you got on this bike. Am putting together a build and that springer is among the best I've seen. If need be I can forge one from scratch but that is very time consuming and expensive when all said & done, plating, etc.

I love these non-harley customs. And this is one of the best I've found all week. I just have to ask... how comfortable is that bare metal seat? lol Looks sick as hell on the bike, but I like some comfort as well lol. Oh, and the sound... FRIGGIN AWESOME! Keep the shiny side up man!

@AnimeDevilDog1 I own a harley custom and just finished building an xs650 like this one.I'm with you,who gives a shit what the bike is as long as it looks good.gotta say though the bare seat isn't good when going over 60 mph on a longer haul.I may put a bit of padding on.but that's me anyway.

the back rim is the stock 83 xs650 rim i liked the spoke pattern so kept it. as for wiring. i have factory electrinic ignition all mounted in the fake oil tank under the the seat.
