Not everyone supports Hamas - you don't have to be pro-Israel to object to their policies.

It was Gazan Palestinians who told me Hamas were forcing an extreme version of Islam over people when Palestinians have always been culturally diverse and being Palestinian is not the same as being a Muslim extremist.

At the same time - I know everybody was punished by the blockade. So the situation was very tense.

I never heard the story of what you said about Fatah. I know both sides were fighting - that's all.

PS - about Hamas and Fatah - I don't support either - it just saddens me that they're divided - because that's what Mossad wanted in the 1st place.

The entire population of Gaza has been under blockade for 3 years. That is illegal in international law.

50% of the population of Gaza are children many of them orphans under the age of 18.

It is illegal in international law, to prevent victims of conflict from receiving vital humanitarian food and medical aid.

This has got nothing to do with Egyptian sovereignty, or Hamas. It's just an excuse. Egypt has an obligation in international law to allow the aid to go through.
