@Blitzwing989 i remember it like this first make sure you have something like winzip or winrar then you want to download a game extract the game with whatever software you get then make a file on the root of your acekard called nes roms nes or whatever you want to call it put your roms there. then when you open the emulator go to the folder you made. the games will be in there and you should be able to game. hope this helped

Too bad the games go way too fast on NesDS. I've tried it, and everything is too fast. The sounds go too fast and are higher pitched, and the gameplay goes too fast, too.

There's probably a way to fix that by limiting the FPS. If not, that's a pretty big design flaw.

my nesds doesn't load the save state for my final fantasy rom. It loads the location of my character but it's all buggy and it's totally unplayable. Also it doesn't save in the game's normal save feature (in inns) i have to restart every time

@thehack55sk I have acekard 2i running Akaio firmware and it runs perfectly. I've even patched some of the roms so they have the game genie cheats to make it easier for my 4 year old to play.

The face is smashed because of your screen resolution. You can fix this in the display screen, but at the cost of not seeing the whole screen at once.

There are some graphical glitches in the NES emulator because a DS has a lower resolution screen. Same with the SNES/Genesis. So the screen settings change between scaled (default) and edges cut off.

I got an m3dssimple, wich is a slot 1 flash card. On the wiki from pocketheaven, it is stated that you can only create a total file size of 3 mb. The emulator works fine. But is there a way to create a file with more NES roms in it, so I can play more ROMS?

Dudes, I fixed it! But just don't ask me how! I got a lot of roms and I can save and I can rewind, which is very handy with some of those hard nes games.

You need a device called a flash cart and a Micro SD card (kinda like a memory card). You store the roms and emulators on the card, which goes into the flash cart, and you can play all sorts of emulators and other stuff on the DS.

Look up 'DS Flash carts' and 'CycloDS Evolution' (the kind of flash cart he's using) and you should find online stores carrying them and info about them.

Hey I just discovered this site and I love it. I am trying to put the NES emulator on my DS. I the download file to my ds and downloaded the rom "Blades of Steel". I can find it on my DS but it says it doesn't recognize the file extention ".nes". Any help would be appreciated. And also I appologize if this question is too stupid. Im new to emulators.

No I haven't. I saved the "download" file to my ds and dragged and dropped the "blades of steel" game to my newly made folder which includes the "download" file and even the code thingy from the website. I will try a different game shortly. Any more suggestions? I appreciate the help!
