Thanks very much. You just have to take your time with it. I made two of the tables like in this video, one for my nephew and one for his mate. It probably took about 8 hours of work per table, but you just can't rush it because it is easy to make a mistake as you point out!

It's brittle and so can be easily cracked when drilling etc.
