hello, i would be nice if you explain how to expand the strokes as you do! I can,t do the same, every time i try to expand the stroke a message appears and interrupt the workflow...
do you have n action trigger to expand your storkes the sharpen the edges?, I see in 7:38 that you get it so fast :C It takes me hours to get linework sharps
I really appreciate your work! Very nice! One question came to mind! When you do your stroke with the pen tool, you then go to the tip of the stroke and make it pointy. The video is so fast, I can`t tell what you do. Could you explain so I can do that?
Never really thought of it. I started all this for my own personal use for my own shirt brand. It is taking some time to get going, but it will get there.@MoosGraffiti
@golfclapp The way I do this, I can convert it all to live paint and color it fine. I do most of my colorings in photoshop though. Since I am starting my own shirt line and printing them myself, it will be better to do the coloring in illustrator for the crisp lines.
@golfclapp nah brother, doesnt matter. when you are doing character illustration like this, you dont use "fills" you turn the entire thing into a live paint group thing and fill in what you want how you many. this image isn't a simple path and fill.
thats intense man! i wish i even knew the basics of illustrator.. i just got it and im very ecperienced in Photoshop, but as for Illustrator, i cant seem to get it right haha. i want to be able to do exactly what you did, with the outlineing of a picture you drew, and adjust the width of each line and what not, it looks very professional! nice video!
Don't know all the names of the songs, but the first is renegade from hed (pe)

It can vary depending on how much detail I put into it. But just using the pen tool, it takes between a hour or hour and a half.

Convert the strokes to outlines. Then you can use the select tool to move the handles or corner points.

Heyo! Thanks for putting this up!
When you color though is it a problem that you haven't joined the lines? Or do you just color in Photoshop?
