  • why dont olbyhack EVER say just who of the 40 and there lawyers want to sue the telecomes for MILLIONS??? 40 out of 300 million people... why so much MONEY??? and does SOROS and the old hippies of EFF along with the lawyers frow the ACLU have their fingers in the pie??? olbyHACK allways has so many facts and details when it fits his propaganda.. WHY NOT NOW??? and WHY SO MUCH MONEY??? and you will get to pay it in your phone bill!!!

  • Keith you're still an Obama brownnoser, but on this issue you're right. This is George Orwell's 1984 come to life.

  • THANK YOU OLBERMANN!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The whores in the congress are going to give collaborators the right to commit crime against american citizens with impunity.

Citizens, hell! America is now a corporation and you and I are only customers.

We have to be the scum of the earth to berate nazi germany and communist russia for spying on their own citizens when we do whatever is necessary to do the same with malice aforethought.

  • Why would a biased commentator like Olbermann be one of the leads for the presidetial debates for MSNBC. Why not a newsman that at least acts like he is impartial.

  • Says the GOP troll. You dumb-ass fool.

  • RIP William F Buckley

  • I dig Olbermann and all, but why does he act like he's talking right to Bush? Does he really think he even watches his show?

That, and Keith wants to be Edward R. Murrow. Falls far short of the mark.

    Other than that, preach on!

  • I think Keith can talk at any level of intelligence,... he has to take it way down and talk O'Reilly style, so they may understand him. I hope he knock their dogmatic cloud away and make them feel ashamed.

  • Dissension =/= socialism/communism

  • While ya'll are arguing, President Dumbshit is literally terrorizing the American people and living down to the definition of facist. In all the love around the Obama-Clinton campaigning, we have taken our eye off the ball. Why aren't we asking question like: can't Bush be arrested under the Patriot Act for terrorizing Americans with lies about survellance capabilities?

  • No he cant, kthxbai.

  • Tyrants will not fall without blood. How many had to die before even the lowest dictators/tyrants were defeated.

Two thousand years ago, a Roman Senator suggested that all slaves

wear white armbands to better identify them.

    "No," said a wiser Senator.

"If they see how many of them there are, they may revolt."

Everyone that wants freedom should wear a white band on their RIGHT or LEFT arm.

  • That quote is awesome!

  • what

  • Olbermann > Bush

  • It is not 'the president' that runs this country, (nor those in the congress or senate by election) he reads a card, no different from Keith Olbermann. Thing is, why would I take any word Kennedy has for the sheople? This is all smoke and mirrors........CORRUPTION, and it brought down Rome, why act surprised as America now stumbles to her knee's?

  • Ya will either Olbermann writes his own stuff (most likely) or theres a couple writers that he has that no one else knows the phone number for (not likely), b/c his rants make neil cavuto on his best "my word" segment look like a 4 grader stumbling though a book report..

  • Again, Keith is right on the mark. Thank God for Keith!

  • in the future, it will be very hard to find anyone who will admit to having voted for Numbnuts (let alone TWICE!).

Oh well, at least the economy is "STRONG!" (snark)

  • Obama IS Bush...Obama will NOT change anything. Obama gets his foreign policy "advice" from Zibignew Brzezinski...they guy that created the Taliban and Al-Qaida. Obama gets his monetary "advice" from Paul Volker.

Obama is MORE OF THE SAME...wake up

  • Obama is by far the smartest out of the candidates who have a chance. I don't think he would stoop to the level of pretending to be stupid. All other things equal, I would prefer to have a smart president.

  • A "smart" president who has sold his soul to the corporate interests that ran Reagan, Bush I, Carter, Bush II, Clinton...etc.. WAKE UP and LISTEN to Obama...he's a FASCIST just like Bush...perhaps even more dangerous as invading Pakistan and / or setting off WWIII will seem like a good idea since it was the "smart" presidents idea.

    Vote for OBAHHHHMA you sheep.

  • Please explain how he is a fascist. I am very confused by this.

  • We could start with the FACT that Obama (like Bush and Cheney) has called for the EXPANSION of the Military. Obama has said he WILL invade Pakistan. Obama says "all options are on the table" for Iran. Obama calls for the expansion of "social" programs which do nothing but rob from the middle class to make the banks richer.

MORE OF THE SAME. Obama is on the hook to big corporations for Millions. Obama like Bush, Clinton and Bush I wants a "public - private partnership" aka FASCISM

  • What Kool-aid are you drinking?? McCain is more of Bush. He has the exact same policies. Nothing different about McCain except he cares a little more about the environment.

  • If you can find ONE REAL difference between what Obama is saying and what McCain is proposing then vote for Obaaahhhhma. I'm telling you there is NO DIFFERENCE. Like McCain, Cheney and Bush Obama "envisions" bases in Iraq forever.

Obama is nothing more then a Snake Oil Salesman...and a dangerous one at that. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!

  • ya, well I like Ron Paul myself. And though I am leary of any of the "mainstream" candidates, it doesn't look like we are going to get much of a choice. Obama at least seems better than McCain. It seems unlikely to me that positive change while the military industrial complex has so much control. For this reason I believe the only real option is to leave. I believe there is a fairly good chance I will move to another country once I graduate.

  • I liked Paul too, but nothing much you can do now. I have already looked at England, Australia, Italy, and Canada as possible places of residency.

  • ugh, Obama wants to leave Iraq ASAP, while McCain will continue the bloodshed until he can claim a so-called "VICTORY." This is a huge difference. McCain could care less about healthcare or the middle class. Obama never voted for the war and has been against the war since the beginning. He even predicted the chaos that would happen. Obama is someone who can think and is flexible. McCain is an old fashioned hard headed A-hole.

  • I'm NOT for McCain...you are comparing arsenic to strychnine...pick your poison fool. Obama HAS voted for every funding bill for the wars AND he did say he WILL invade Pakistan (news flash Pakistan has NUKES). Obama also voted for the Military Commissions Act. Obama is just another puppet.

  • Is he suppossed to leave the troops without funding?? All options should always be on the table when negotiating with countries. Obama wants to finish our intial mission to get Bin Laden. Obama obviously wants to negotiate more then McCain is plainly less likely to start a war. Why the name calling??

  • Also, WTF does Obama have to do with Olbermann's analysis. I understand there are some connections, but this is the first thing you mention???

  • Ummmm...if you check the voting record your Saint Obama voted FOR the "legislation" Olbermann is talking about...TWICE. In other words Mr. Change has voted to cover the butts of the telecom companies who broke the law on top of voting to allow unfettered "surveillance" on YOU and ME. Obama also voted for "the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act"...Orwell would be proud. He's a good fascist lackey.

  • Correct. You can tell Obama supporters this over and over, but they seem to want to believe in the fantasy of change, rather than work towards real change. The Democrat voters are on a full-throttle ride to disaster, just as the Republican voters were in 2000 and 2004--and are again with their support of pro-war, anti-liberty, big spending candidates. Welcome to America, the land of the enslaved and the home of the fearful.

  • I think the Change platform is rather ridiculous and flimsy myself, but unlike others I actually take the 5-10 minutes to find out about somebodies positions. Obama is not pro-war and by saying he is because he votes to supply our military is a little ridiculous. I don't believe he is anti-liberty, but you can make the case that he is a big spender. The republicans are also big spenders so pick your poison.

  • "And it is very important at this stage, understanding how badly the president's strategy has failed, that we not vote for funding without some timetable for this war."

    ...unless there is no timetable.

"I believe that we should have all our troops out by 2013, but I don't want to make promises, not knowing what the situation's going to be three or four years out." Dem debate at Dartmouth College Sep 26, 2007

If Obama is elected, from that point on what euphemism should we use for 'war'?

  • And??? Obviously you know nothing about how good politicians work. He is making sure he does not pigeon-hole himself into a position. This signifies to me that he can think and recognizes that circumstances change. You can try anyway you want, but you know that Obama wants to end the war ASAP, maybe not as soon as you would like

  • I've lived long enough to know when a politician is trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the citizens. I couldn't care less what his words signify to you. His actions do not indicate that he wants to end the war. Frankly, I'm sick of the lies. After 8 years of Bush, I would think you would be too. Instead, you defend this politician's actions and words while pointing your finger at me. I would not be surprised if you also defend his unethical contributions to the superdelegates as well.

  • I couldn't get that link to work, but I am not defending him. I am sick of the lies as well. How am I attacking you?? I don't believe that he is a saint and has not done anything shady. However, he is most likely to end the war out of all the candidates. I don't agree with everything, however I recognize that we don't live in a utopia and it is not going to be perfect.

  • I don't know why the link didn't work for you. I didn't write "attacked." You keep posting that you're not defending him. Call it what you want. He may eventually end the war. Meanwhile, our non-utopia will be an additional $287B imperfect. And Ron Paul is the most likely to end the war, not Obama.

  • Promised to repeal Patriot Act, then voted for it. (Jan 2008) Voting YEA extends the PATRIOT Act, and voting NAY would phase it out (maybe Obama wasn't clear on that).

I really think it takes more than 5 to 10mins to learn about a candidate. In 5 to 10mins you have enough time to read a couple of stump speeches. That is no where near enough time to research any candidate, much less all of them. Considering this, by your own admission your opinion is uninformed and doesn't carry much weight.

  • I think you are mischarcterizing the point of my statements, but it does not take too long to find his voting record.

  • If you actually take the 5-10 minutes to find out about that vote you will notice that he worked to make weaken the original version of the bill and voted for that bill. Things are not always black and white, which is why people like you try to distort senators voting records.

  • I know what he said and I know what he did. I also know the rationalizations he made for his actions. If any one is distorting Obama's record, it is he.

You lump me into a group you define as "people like you." You assume I don't know, or haven't looked long enough, and once more you mention a measely 5 to 10 mins. I've spent far longer than that examining voting records and the past history and stances of all the candidates.

  • WTF is with you and the 5-10 mins. I didn't mean literally. My God!! I referred to it again because it takes five minutes to find Obamas voting record. I hope it doesn't take you longer then that??? Yea, people who just look at yes and no's as opposed to things existing on a continuum of choices.

  • I could ask you the same. I thought by your repeated use of it, it was significant to you. I'm glad to hear you don't think it takes whatever-short-amount-of-time to read a bill and arguments for and against in the Congressional Record or an analysis of a bill which can be found elsewhere.

  • One more item. You write, "I think the Change platform is rather ridiculous and flimsy myself...." Obama said the "excitement and the interest that people have in the election is based on the core belief in me that we need change in America." It's his "core belief" and you believe it's "ridiculous and flimsy"? I agree with Obama--we need change. But I also need "change" defined by each candidate who uses this word, as to what manner of change and how, specifically, it will be accomplished.

  • Psst. RationalSchema, great news for Obama supporters at: boston . com/news / politics/politicalintelligence / 2008/02/superdelegates . html

  • Who said he is my "Saint?" What is up with calling me a fool. All I did was ask you to explain your commentsand provided some evidence to the contrary while you provide evidnece for your positions. No reason to get all huffy.

  • Yea and you severely misrepresent his record. He voted for removing the immunity ammendment and against the cloture motion to introduce the bill. Also the VRHTP Act has not been up for vote in the Senate and has only been passed by the house.

    Thank you

  • The "Lone crazy man" on MSNBC...all the networks (except FOX) do it...allow 1 "crazy guy" to rant the TRUTH and they feel their journalistic duty is fulfilled.

  • Whether you like him or not, Keith is the best news orator ever. That is all.

  • P.S....Thanks for posting, HoffmaniaDotCom. Was looking for this today, and you came through. We need more patriots like you.

  • Why isn't everyone angry? WHY AREN'T WE RIOTING IN THE STREETS?!?

  • Because you're slack-jawed pussies, that's why. You'd rather sit around and whine like babies. LOL!

  • The day Bush was sworn into his second term, I marched with hundreds of others in downtown Seattle. My sign had Bush's face on it and said "This is what fascism looks like". I never thought my viewpoint would ever be openly echoed by a man of KO's intelligence.
