it's a mistake of the driver not of the marshalls! you see them wavin' the flags....then no car is comming and they stop wavin'...at this moment the driver could turn around his car. but then the marshalls start wavin' again that means there are cars arriving. and exatly at this moment the driver tries to turn run...that following...really stupid mistake by the driver!

The F575 was gorgeous; shame it was never on the pace at Silverstone either. Bit of dodgy marshalling by the looks of that though.

Looks like one of the JetAlliance Aston's that hits the F575, but can't tell which.

The thing is that this car along with both MC12's from JMB and a Chrysler Viper are in the Citation Cup, which have spec tires and is a class for gentlemen drivers, they'll never be on the same pace as the GT1's, most the time the GT2's have a hard time going by them actually. Bad bit for Loris Kessel though, owner/driver of that car, the guy in this video.

Yes, the driver at the time was Loris Kessel, the owner of the team, he's not new, just a quick gentlemen driver who didn't like the controlled tires in the Citation Cup... I saw the Men & Motors coverage on this... but watching it from here, it hurt my feelings... cos really... HE HAS TO PAY FOR THAT!!, at least the corner marshall is not gonna be working this weekend in 08! Thanks for this vid! I absolutely loved the racing and the track! This accident happened because the race oficials, didn't knew how to signal the race driver to STOP...It was very funny watching it live....

PS. I haven't caught the sliping of the Ferrari car from the begining unfortunately...
