This episode would had been so much better if Scarecrow had used fear gas instead of ordinary sleeping gas, especially at 0:47 when Scarecrow easily captures Batgirl. At least Batgirl would have had an excuse for being captured so easily, as the fear gas would make her too scared to fight ("Please don't hurt me, Mr. Scarecrow!").

That is the worst Scarecrow i have ever seen. He does not use fear gas in this series. Instead, he uses knock-out gas which he keeps in eggs.

Wow, Scarecrow has certainly changed as time has gone by. look at him now in batman arkham asylum!! This is so odd for me, born in 1991, i grew up with Scarecrow from Batman the animated series. I'm glad batman is starting to return to his roots, he was originally a very very dark character and this while funny, deviated quite a bit.

While the dialogue's corny, sound effects, storyline, all that are lame...the Scarecrow's mask in this video is pretty freaky hahaha. Like something out of "Texas Chainsaw Massacre". Reminds me of Leatherface's "Old Lady" mask.

annnd this is why Scarecrow never appeared in the 60s Batman. I was a little disappointed he only used sleep gas, but the robin in peril wasn't too bad. Just wish Batgirl didn't have to be there, she annoys me majorally in this series. *rolls eyes*. TY for the upload though, I've been wanting to see this episode as well! ^_^

The expression on Batgirl's face at 0:48 just before she's knocked out by the sleeping gas reminds me of the Wonder Woman episode "Fausta, the Nazi Wonder Woman" and the look on Wonder Woman's face when, while bound with her own golden lasso, she is compeled to tell a Nazi agent her weakness and also that chloroform will keep her unconcious. The expressions on both of their faces just before they are put to sleep say it all:"Well, what are you waiting for? Let's just get it over with."
