im a tech and im so very sorry but miming she is, there are cut out periods pre designated where she is allowed to do a little ad lib, ive used, ive seen it and she was miming, she even admits being out of breath so note for note perfect i think not but i respect that she is a great entertainer and lovely and talented.

Miming to a pre-recorded vocal during a "live" performance is just as much of a con as miming to the original studio track. If the voice is coming from the PA system instead of the singer's mouth, IT ISN'T LIVE.

Using dance routines as an excuse to mime isn't good enough (especially if your routines are as ordinary as Alex's). If you can't sing live and dance at the same time, either do them separately, or don't dance. Whatever you do, SING. Or don't call yourself a singer.

To anyone who doubts that Alexandra wasn't miming at least some of the song to a pre-recorded vocal, watch 4:26 of this clip:

You can clearly hear the lead vocal, but her mouth ISN'T MOVING. What happened is Alexandra's people tried to be clever by pre-recording the vocal for her, instead of relying entirely on miming to the original studio track. But, because the pre-recording deviated from the original, Alexandra was unfamilar with the changes and lost her place, which exposed her miming.

Trust me if she was shit Simon Cowell would not have had her sign a five album record deal worth millions. Secondly, Simon Cowell does not send people to the US to look at palm trees, she's been recording her album working with top record producers i.e. Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Clive Davis, Akon to name but a few. If she was crap he would have kept her here!

You obviously didn't read my comment properly. I said she's been recording her album working with top record producers, not dueting with them! Justin Timberlake, Akon, Timbaland are artists but are also well known record producers and they also write material for other artists! Clive Davis has worked with some of the best singers in the world and more recently Leona Lewis! My point is if she was shit Cowell would not go out on a limb for her, after all he is a business man not their pen pal!
