  • rascal flatts is the worse band that ever came to nashville, man are they horrible.

  • this is what country music should be not rascal fags

  • in spite of all his hits, the most underrated singer songwriter in country music! never got the fame he deserved.

  • I wouldn't walk across the street to see Rascal Shatts but this guy is an awesome singer/songwriter!

  • Todays Country sucks!..... bring back the 80's

  • @grabbber AMEN!!!!!

  • Beautiful song loved it,

  • steve is a very good singer and aa good friend

  • Most under-rated singer/song writer EVER!!!

  • @ericsully22 that is a real musician!! no doubt about it

  • I'm 13 years old but i still love this song from listening to it with my mom when i was little

  • @dragkunkle the posers always get all the attention i'm not gonna start talking about them not on this page and disrespect steve wariner

  • This has been one of my favorites since about 16 years old. I wonder why, lol

  • Story of my life! Love this song...

  • to be honest this is my song

  • Loved it god bless who love the country music

  • see kids, hes actually playing his own instrument, doing his own singing from a song he actually wrote himself, all live in front of real people. Real talent.

  • @2bigbufords Actually, it was written by John Scott Sherrill, but you are right about Steve being the real deal in a world of posers.

  • @2bigbufords You forgot: No Autotune!

  • this song is so great.

  • what a great song,,,,,,,thanks for the post

  • This song says the truth.. I'm playing it for myself tonight

  • a very true statement.God i wish she would see this comment

  • damn...I like this more than the studio version!

  • Great song...great artist...love the TONE of this song. Country music is too loud, these days. Too many different instruments at the same time. The 80s was very mellow for country music, and Steve was the BOMB!

  • Exitwest.... I like your comment

  • the 2 people who "disliked" will apparently never learn

  • i havent forgotten you Steve

  • awesomenesss

  • This one too~

  • In his top three for sure

  • Sometimes I think I'm think I'm the biggest fool around. Seems like I never learn.

    Great song,

  • some times in the heat of anger you make real bad decisions (believe me) it cost me my family for 15yrs I have my daughters back in my life if I hadn't pushed my wife away the family would be complete but, I thank god he let me have my beautiful daughters back so don't be that fool like me and throw away alot of good years,if I could say I'm sorry and that would make everything ok believe me that would've happened along time ago Don't be that fool to learn the hard way !!!!

  • One of my all time favorite songs!

  • @purpleplzr top 10 country at least .

  • What year was this? He looks a lot like my cousin. {Sorry Tommy} HA!! Even mom says that too. I would really love to meet Steve.

  • It's only love when you're loved in return...

  • This is a heart-piercing, timeless love song which for me evokes "If I Fell", with a healthy dose of Everly brothers. One of the very best country songs ever.

  • Really good song. It helps people realize that there are people who never learn in the real world.

  • Love Steve Wariner! This was from Austin City Limits Austin, TEXAS!

  • such a true song,i lived it

  • BABY I TRIED! BUT IM JUST NOT THAT STRONG...

Damn this heart of mine. Im stuck. </3

    </3 ),x -smh-

  • don't be a damn fool, haha everybody has at one point time in another, but from a young fool several years back....don't be a damn fool

  • I think Steve is one of the few who sounds just as good in person as he does on his records and i believe he started with Dottie West as her Bass Player..Major Talent

  • this fool has learned this song seems like it was writtin straight to me i have finally relized that it was bst to leav and i fill firm with me decison i don tthink i regret it like i did in the past im happy to say i have learned to let go and met someone new

  • WOW, what a performer. He is just a bloody good guitarplayer. I met him in the early 80ies in the Netherlands. We did some gigs over there.

  • When country music was good......this was the kind of music I listened to....

  • the best by far

  • perfect pitch

  • SOOOO FINE!! This Austin girl loves that background!! HOME!!

  • Steve Wariner - Austin City Limits.

    kk (austin texas)

  • ill stay a fool

  • Hear that? Yea, that's talent. Real musicians, real singing. Made it on TALENT,SKILL, not looks and industry hype.

  • @itsmovinfast AMEN!!! It just doesn't get any better than Steve Wariner.

  • I LOVE this Country Music Song!! YEEHAAW!! :)

  • Austin City Limits

  • when people ask why I don't like Rascal Flatts or think they're that great, I simply point to this song in comparison

  • love him

  • Truly one of the best entertainers from the 80s-90s, he could sing and play a mean guitar. Vs the junk out nowdays

  • JULIE ? MAY YOU ALWAYS KEEP IT REAL!

  • one of the best voices ever in country music.

  • i went by one night there was somebodys car parked outside true story I KICKED HIS ASS

  • a severely underrated guitar player .

  • I think this is my favorite SW song but there are so many it's hard to choose :)

  • Steve Wariner Is my all time favorite singer, and has been since I was a kid. Singing background to his left is his brother Terry. One thing about Steve is he always remembered you even if you showed up yrs later at his shows. Many times greeted his fans and gave autograghs.

  • I also believe that is George Grantham on drums and harmonies--one of the founding members of Poco-

  • i do not want to hide anymore for something that was out of my control! people choose they way they go! i can not make the choice for them!

  • Nice song!!!

  • IN my humble opinion..... Steve Wariner is probably one of the most underestimated artists ib country music. This guy was and is truly great!

  • i remember back in the day watchin this on tv..this is soo cool

  • I don't know enough about Steve Wariner to know if he wrote all of his own music. Whoever wrote this song and "The Weekend" was a lyrical genius - just like all lyrical geniuses, the words don't have to complex to be beautiful and completely relevant to those who have loved and lost.

  • @pocu321 Bill LaBounty and Beckie Foster wrote the track...LaBounty would late cowrite Drive with Steve.

  • Wish my son would learn...

  • 1980's Steve Wariner was solid.

  • I remember these days. That is Steve's brother Terry Playing guitar with him and Allen Love on Steel and Reggie Young on bass.

  • love this song!!

  • this is sooooo awesome!!!

  • I love his music, brings back memories when i was growing up. Its only love when your loved in return, how true is that...

  • Steve is way better than he ever got credit for. He came on the scene when George strait was at his peak. He kinda got over looked, too bad.

  • Talk about tight jeans. Steve Wariner sure looks sexy in those tight jeans, and that sexy voice singing this song leaves this ol' country gal weak in the knees!

  • Love it! Thanks for posting.

  • What does that mean?? Fake?? I don't understand...

  • How old are you ? Or are you FAKE,

    FOOOOOOOOL

  • I'm old, and still have no idea what you mean by "fake". Why would you call me a fool for asking a question? You must be haveing troubles you can't discuss. I didn't mean anything other than what I asked...

  • I believe the song explains its self, unless you truly are a fool, if thats the case you'll never LEARN , if not just keep listening to the song over and over and over UNTIL YOU GET IT

  • FAKE prepare or make (something specious, deceptive, or fraudulent): to fake a report showing nonexistent profits. to conceal the defects of or make appear more attractive, interesting, valuable, etc., usually in order to deceive:

The story was faked a bit to make it more sensational.

to pretend; simulate: to fake illness.

    to trick or deceive .

  • wonderful song!

  • one of my favorite songs

  • 15 year old english kids really shouldnt listen to this. BUT WHO GIVES A DAMN?great song

  • I am without a doubt one of those fools.

  • Hell, I have lived this song, everyday!

  • Been waiting forever for someone to post this song, thank you so much.

  • The music i grew up on! Love it :)

  • Theres a fool typing right now...lol

Yeah, I'm burned and God I hope learn....

    Awesome tune

Thanks for posting from the great state of TEXAS!!

  • I am so glad someone finally posted a vid of this song. Thanks!

  • i used to hear this when i was a kid. i wish i'd taken it to heart back then. but i guess you gotta live and learn. steve wariner is wise.

  • Is Steve single??

  • @kassiesma

No Steve is Married to Caryn. They have 2 sons, Ryan and Ross. They both play in bands now.

  • thats me

  • Thanks...he is so talented

  • I can make up my mind not to see you again but you move through my dreams like the wind........it's only love when you're loved in return. I am the Happiest Fool in the world, for at least I am in LOVE

  • Some fools never learn.... he's got that right......

  • good song i was little when it came out but i remember my parents listening to this album good singer

  • me too...

  • I liked the duet he and Garth Brooks did of this song on the Grand Ole Opry in 2005.
