  • essa linda musica muitas lembranças.como doi

  • Definitely sampling the intro into a rap beat

  • Obviously the dislikes are people that missed the like button.

  • thoses two people are stupid and dumb

  • I had no idea Johnny & Niecy had covered this classic! Really beautiful!!

  • I always thought Luther Vandross was the original singer, now I know he wasn't!

  • @gigismith1

The original singer is Major Harris.

  • @gigismith1 Major Harris did the original in 1972. Luther's version didn't come out until 1988.

  • check out the band serpents guys. you will love it. sounds just like this.

peep "the monumental disillusionment" ; )

  • How just utterly exquisite does Niecy sound herein?

Simply beyond all words and measure.

  • wow...this guy's voice is really...i actually thought johnny mathis was some white guy...lol fooled the hell out of me...

  • oh this is it mmmm... he kinda looks like Lloyd in this pic

  • I can read here: 70 like - 1 not like.????? How can one NOT like this song?

It's such a wonderful song with John and Niecy. Thank you for sharing. Berit.

  • @beweau thanks

  • Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful song..................two of my favorite singers.

  • I did some research on Johnny and they said that his ethnicity is black and that he was gay...I never knew that tho....but being black...makes a lil sense about his hair and complexion.

  • @SupaHead1977 There's a good chance Johnny is mixed with Mexican or French. Especially since he's from Port Arthur, Texas.

  • yes!!

  • Magnífica canção para um dueto fantástico! O que querer mais?!

    Cleber

    Salvador-Bahia-Brasil

  • Sweet.

  • Sing Deniece..this is nice they all ways sound good togeher.

  • 1984 is the year this came out

  • What year did this song come out?

  • I think 1978.

  • Truly a masterpiece done by two of the most exquisite voices in the game. These two done took the game and gone with it. Can I get an amen on this one church? Holla back.

  • This song is the answer to a question man has asked since time began..."What is love?"

Two very beautifully different voices complimenting eachother's vocals like pancakes and syrup.... Sensually exquisite...

  • Johnny Mathis looks black !

  • That's b/c he is black silly, lol

  • @DIJV79 ahhahaha that the funniest thing i read all day...

  • Actually Johnny Mathis is East Indian.

  • And what caste do the Indians place East Indians? Is it not black?

  • Indians look black to me. But don't tell them that.

  • both of his parents are African-American and Caucasian ...where you get east indian from (his hair texture)? lol naw but for real both parents are black and Caucasian

  • MY GOD MY GOD. nICE

  • Chantejoy-- This song was Originally done by Major Harris, I think he sings it the best... I've hear similiar but he's still the best one... great song btw!

  • no i think harris did after johhny and after harris luther made a cover of it as well

  • No Harris did this first in 74' Johnnie & Deniece in 78'. Luther way later

  • @rufus317 They actually recoreded in 1983.

  • What a beautiful, sensual song. Lord have mercy! I knew Luther sang it...but didn't know it was a cover. So nice to hear something romantic vs the 'love songs' of today that are far less poetic about 'turning down the light'.

  • wow what a gem!!!!

  • This song is fabulous. I love it. And, Johnny hasn't changed a bit. Looking at this is like looking at him last August, except he was wearing a baseball cap. I don't know how he stays so young looking. I call him, Facia Bella.

  • this is an older picture but all his pictures look young though

  • I don't like the photo of him in the purple shirt on his website. It doesn't look like him at all.

  • oh im bout to check it out

  • oh!!! you are telling the truth

  • ReadMeReadYou, hi I've heard Johnny say in interviews that he still works out several times a week. Also he is an excellent cook so he probably fixes himself nourishing and healthy meals. He doesn't smoke or drink excessively either which can make a great difference. When I get to be 73 I hope I look as good as he does.
