U2 is by far my fave band. I went to the 2nd Vertigo concert in Toronto last tour. It was awesome. The sound was incredible at the ACC.

I am a very amateur guitar player focusing mostly on U2 songs. If its not too much trouble could you explain how you go about getting backing tracks. I have never used one before but feel they could greatly assist my pathetic guitar playing. New U2 album in March BTW. Woot!!

Welcome back dude. Awesome as always. Im a lil' confused about the backing track you used. I pretty sure that if you used the actual R&H track (but im sure you didn't) that you improvised alot as the edge does not start the "power chords" until after the 3rd verse. Bono's references (to his bandana) in the track you used was done during the Vertigo Tour. Personally, when i first heard the track I thought it was from the War tour (lol). Your vid additions are awesome too BTW.

good observations. i know the backing track was manipulated a bit like the intro being a little long and adding the religious bit. i didn't compare myself closely with bootlegs. i was going off what i remembered in how to play it. i didn't make the backing track

That was GREAT. I liked how you mixed in a little Bono visual in the middle of the video. The only slight negative about the video is i thought Bono's vocal was a little too overpowering but as far as your performance goes... it was flawless as usual.

Although i still like your performance in The Fly(extended solo) the best. Just gotta mention that because it is still a totally awesome performance and effort. I give it perfect 10's in all aspects.

Thanks Patrick - you're always entertaining. Did you use the SD-1 as your primary distortion for this vid? Any other distortion added (i.e. from your VOX)? I like the SD-1 but I sold it since I didn't like the bass frequency cut off it tended to have on my sound.
