  • @TimTebowSucksBigDix your name says what a idiot you really are..and a racist piece of crap too.

  • @WeaselSqueezingFagot your mother shouldve had an abortion

  • @SackOfDonkeyCocks i agree to a point..joan payson had already died by then and her husband gave all the power to douchebag M.donald grant.he traded seaver because seaver pissed him off when he was the mets player rep. i heard tug got traded for having an affair with buddy harrellson's wife, but who knows?,matlack i loved (the herman munster clone, lol),koos already was 37 i think and went 8 and 20 and 4 and 13 his last 2 met years.i think he requested a trade to his hometown twins..

  • @sabreyow the Mets suck just like yo gay lovers Butch and Todd

  • @TheWeaselSqueezer oh you mean, they took a break from tag teaming you?

  • @sabreyow no,but Gary Carter just died of Aids given to him by your former lover Art Shamsky!

  • @TheWeaselSqueezer it took you all that time to come up with that?? spewing hate on a dead guy? that and gay jokes is all you have?? bahahaha go back to 4th grade you little 9 year old idiot

  • As much as a Phillies fan that I am I would love to see the phillies mets in the playoffs playing each other

  • @karmatmor72 but got shut down by the Yankees

  • One day the Mets will win again. We will celebrate that to no end.

  • Go RYAN!!!!

  • LETS GO METS!

  • Fantastic video!! LET'S GO METS!!!!

  • When people realize that there is NEW YORK CITY and EVERYBODY else lives in the suburbs of NY....it is only then that people will understand the signifagance of what NYC truly is.

  • Art Shamsky recently admitted that he gave a blowjob to all 24 of his 1969 New York Mets including blowing manager Gil Hodges and coach Joe Pignatano.

  • @UsuxMyBallsack what are you,5 years old?? oh,yes you are..look at your stupid name..get out of your parents house and get a job

  • Go Mets!! My team. Wish I was alive to see this and '86

  • go mets.mets won 2 world seiers

  • Huge upset. Over course of a full season, Orioles would outplay them. Mets pitching was better, but O's superior in just about all other categories. This was a fabulous catch by Swoboda. Mets were just destined to win, esp with a little help from that horrible call (or non-call) for not calling the runner going to 1st out for being out of base line, when ball hit him and runner on 3d scored winning run

  • 36 years i befor i was born i love the mets 2011 wright after mets beat the yankees

  • I wonder how many people claim to have a chunk of the sod from that game!

  • my first world series. i was fortunate enough to go to game 3 with my brother...great catches...my brother was supposed to have sold the tickets. Instead, he kept them and bet on the orioles to cover the tickets........it did not work out for him and i saw one of the bets games ever. Thanks to tommie agee

  • Simply amazing

  • 5 years before I was born, but I get goosebumps every time I watch this! Let's Go Mets!

  • @fruticetum so then why respond? obviously you just hate. try doing a little research before making another idiotic remark.

  • @fruticetum Obviously you know NOTHING about baseball. The Mets were HUGE underdogs. This is the biggest upset in World Series IN HISTORY.

  • @fruticetum Wrong. So wrong.

    Very, very, very wrong.

    Man, how fucking wrong.

  • @fruticetum Actually this was an Amazing world series-What you have to understand the Mets were in last place they had they worst record in tha national league-They went from being in last place to winning the pennant and going on to win the world series-That itself is an accomplishment-But what made them even more amazing is that they had the greatest fans in the world-they never gave up on their team-

  • @curtisjones400 The Minnesota Twins did the same thing - worst to first in 1991. But you don't hear anything about them. Small-market team. As for NY Mets fans, they're assholes. John Kruk described them in his bio. He said in most cities, the fans ask politiely for autographs, but Mets fans say "Sign dis", and you if you don't, they call you an asshole.

  • @fruticetum umm...both the braves and twins came to that world series from worst to first. and that world series is considered the greatest ever played. but as far as biggest world series moments of all time, 1969 is head, shoulders, and torso above anything that's happened in baseball before or since. so, stop being a miserable asshole and enjoy the clip

  • @xSoccerxCorex

Again, what was significant about the '69 Series? Answer: Nothing. Just more NYC hype bullshit.

  • @fruticetum What's so great about your boring area of the country idiot? Boring as hell because I have already been there you name it..

  • @fruticetum It was special because when baseball had finally returned for New York baseball fans in the form of the Mets, they perennially came in dead last, or close to it. They had defied all expectations and beat the orioles, who had Brooks and Frank Robinson and Jim Palmer, in the world series.

  • @vantageIIx

Lots of teams sucked and then won. You don't hear much about them. Again, this is all NY hype.

  • @fruticetum You can't blame people for being more interested in these Mets than someone like the 91 Twins. It's not New York hype, it's the difference between a small-market and large-market team. I'm sure it would be very special if the Nats won the WS, marking the first time since the 20's that our nation's capital won the championship.

  • @vantageIIx Oh, I understand more people are interested in these Mets because it's a large market team. But my point is the Mets and series weren't better or more signficant than many others in terms of the play itself, yet that is what these people would have you believe.

  • @fruticetum yeah but what other teams were 40-120? and never won more than 73 games in their existence?your just a ny hater it seems or you dont understand what it was like in ny with no national league teams for 6 years and then 100 game losing seasons the first 3 or 4..even the year before they won was their best record and they still were 24 games out of first place..one year, they finished 60 games out of first..so it really was a miracle that they won

  • @fruticetum It had Nolan Ryan who won his first and only WS title. That should be good enough. He is a living legend with a golden arm.

  • @Luigi84289 Jerry Koosman was great too

  • @fruticetum Because Minnesota has a bunch of a-holes like you as the rest of the Northern States in Midwest America.

  • love it, love how they tear up the field at the end!

  • @JoeMulk because??

  • @wiedep

It just looks like a rocking good time
