When two actors are in the middle of shooting the most dramatic scene of the movie, you DON'T move around distractedly behind the camera in their eye line. Both actors trying to concentrate, see you putzing around out of the corner of their eye, glances at you, lose their train of thought, it ruins the scene. That DP had done it before. You've never been on a movie shoot.

When two actors are in the middle of shooting the most dramatic scene of the movie, you DON'T move around distractedly behind the camera in their eye line. Both actors trying to concentrate, see you putzing around out of the corner of their eye, glances at you, lose their train of thought, it ruins the scene. That DP had done it before. You've never been on a movie shoot.

Been in over a 100 films myself (not an extra) and as much as people try not to move around during a take, it's hard to ignore there's a big fuckin camera with a film crew behind it. C'mon, Bale was just TOO freaked out. The guy was doin his job as well, and I am completely sure he was much more stressed than Bale was. Bale had to play the character, whereas the other guy had to pay attention to what was happenin on scene, to the director, to the lights, and god knows how many more things. Bale's behaviour cannot be justified in any way.
Acting MIGHT be a stressful job (I dont fully agree with that statement), but that doesnt mean the other guy's job was less stressful.

The guy deserved it. He interrupted before, and apparently didn't care enough about the movie he was working on to respect the rest of the crew. As for those of you who say hes an actor and has no business treating people like this, in every occupation you have people who deserve to be told harshly what they did wrong. Some people just don't think, and it affects the rest of the people around them. I'm sure other people on the set were mad, but Bale was the only one who put him in his place.

And by the way, do you realize how difficult it is to act out a scene that required heavy acting skills from Bale? The scene that the moron interrupted was one of them. You know how painful it was for Bale to do the whole thing over and over again? That's probably why he spazzed out on the guy so that the guy can completely process the information into his brain telling not to interrupt anymore.

Turtlestyl, you are a reject. Bale is rational enough to yell at this degenerate who walked into the scene twice...TWICE!! And for what? To tweak some lights that were not even a problem in the first place? Bale kindly warned the idiot the first time he did it. All Bale wanted was for the scene to run smoothly so that us viewers (even YOU) of the movie would enjoy it without seeing some knucklehead come in and disrupt the whole mood of the story. Therefore, you should thanking him after all. :P

Wow, that's not professional at all. So he ruined the scene? Yeah it's probably frustrating but yelling at someone like this isn't going to solve your problem. Never knew he was such an ignorant dick. Making all that money and they think they can walk all over anyone. I don't care if people think he's awesome, maybe as an actor in his movies but if this is how he treats someone, he doesn't deserve any respect. The scary thing is, many people here think treating another person in this manner is acceptable. Where has our society gone to when someone can treat another this way and be supported for it. He is an actor. Thats it nothing more but an actor, he does not save lives, he does not teach our children he does not tend to the elderly. He is an actor. Yet you all put up right on up there with God. Nice real nice.... HE is a dick head for treating this other person like he did. He deserves no respect.

by the way...just fyi...as an actor, who has previously worked in some of the hardest jobs in north america (quarry worker as an example)...you have no idea how much stress a proffessional actor must go through to deliver entertainment for us to enjoy. it is beyond anything you will ever know...trust me..

Yet another spoiled, pain in the ass, overpaid, prima donna, and probably far-left actor. Someone should tell this shrimpy little prick that a good actor can perform anywhere, no matter what's going on around him. How do stage and dinner theater actors do it?
