It's not God that's not allowed in public, God is already in public etc. It's the crooked, divisionist, hateful and racist-(religion) that shouldn't be allowed in public. Religionism Christian or Muslim is a Doomsday cult, threatening civilization and futures child. The Crusades, The Inquisition, Jim Jones, David Koresh. The rape, enslavement and murder of the new world and Africa by religionists. I do however feel Religion should be taught in school, if the TRUTH is taught about it.

Seriuosly, God is not a "him" or her. God is in everythingas God is everything. They are not keeping GOD out of schools, they are keeping religion out, which is a good thing. All religion seperates people, and proclaims that it possess the right path to GOD, which is rediculous. The consequence of this arrogant thinking manifests itself in WAR, Nationalism and conflict among humans. Religion is one mans vision of God forced on everybody else, usaully by brainwashing children.

Much of the problem is that we have an entire generation who have been brought up under cultural Marxism and do not know what freedom from it is like. Which of course was the aim of Marxists. However, as experience in the old Iron Curtain countries shows, the yearning for freedom is not suppressed by political ideologies and it tends to break the surface of human consciousness in the end, as long as there is still an example of free life in existance to measure against.

Can you cite the Constitution in regard to this? The only thing that it says is that Congress shall make NO (N-O) law "respecting an establishment of religion" or that prohibit the "free exercise of religion". NO law. Congress is not to restrict religion. Period.

Separation of church and state appears no where in Constitution. And some of the first acts of the very first Congress(those who wrote and ratified Constitution where around) was to print Bibles, appoint a chaplain, pray, ets.

How is this related to your original claim that the U.S constitution separates church and state? Do you retract this claim in light of what frankreally has to say, or are you going to raise a counter statement?

It looks like you've raised a completely different constitutional issue without first refuting the counterclaim or retracting your own claim.

God is not a religion! The Constitution states government will not promote, support or endorse one specific religion above another. Talking or teaching about god is not a violation of the constitution. You should take another look at it and stop regergitating all that you hear.

And I encourage people to look into the ACLU and they will be shocked at the original founders (admitted communists). The American public has been conditioned to hate the word "communist", so that slapping that label on any group automatically makes it a tool of Satan, but it ain't necessarily so. The primary work of the ACLU is to make the federal government uphold the Constitution. No, Roger Baldwin, who founded the ACLU, stated explicitely "Communism is the goal." Many original board members (and no doubt a few today) were admitted communists. Unlike liberals, I don't throw words around unless they mean something. The ugliest form of tyranny is when unelected judges dictate when and where students can pray. For 150 years we had school prayer. Now we don't. Look at the results. I rest my case. The primary work of the ACLU is dismantling everything this country.

I agree but I would add that the feminists are just as dangerous. If you have not done so, I would urge you also to read about the Frankfurt School and their massive impact upon the western world in helping to create the Marxist cultural revolution we are seeing today. It is the same here in Britian with Marxist influences trying to destroy the Church, the family and all of other the things that keep our society glued together. We need a new revolution on the right.

Yet in Europe more than 50% of the population are professed atheists, in Sweden even 80%, and they have less violence, a longer, healthier lifespan, lower incidences of child mortality, and a higher standard of living than the U.S. Now I know you won't believe that & that's fine. As a U.S. citizen who left the States 22 years ago, I know it to be factual. I'll enjoy my life here with civilized people while the U.S. travels down the road to a cultural dark age.

There is no evidence of a corollary relationship between levels of religiosity and social development. Proof of this lies in the fact that several nations with a high level of religiosity display similar levels of social development as those with low levels of religiosity. Examples include Spain, Austria, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and Israel.

rhabdoviridae, you obviously need to do your homework. 79.6% of the Swedish population are members or attend the Church of Sweden. That is down a few points from the separation of church and state in 2000. They are a civilized nation of little over 7 million. Of course they have little crime!

etommy33, I tried to find the underpinnings of your statement & found no statistic to back it up. According to the European Christian Mission: 85% of Swedes claim a link to the Lutheran Church, while only 5 - 7% attend at least once a month. I think you misinterpreted your data. Furthermore, according to Phil Zuckerman, as of 2005 85% of Swedes are either agnostic or atheist.

The crime reference is a percentile designator independent of actual population.
