  • That was great.

  • GREAT :D

  • this is

    by far

    the BEST

    pro-environment film ever.

    good job, 7r33hugg3rz! XD

  • Great video, great message. Until I watched it, and read the notes. As a recovering hater, I have resolved nearly all my fractures with existential, and subatomic, flesh and stone, in this world; and in so enjoy the Aesthetic. Trees. Nearly proof of the divine through their grace, utility as well as literal and symbolic fortitude, are near sublime; if not for one sin of enablement. Providing aid and comfort to ball breaking, baby Jesus hating, smelly-ass Squirrel. Of all things. Gday sir.

  • Great, I love it. LOL, move out west here, we got some trees Bro :-)

  • i like the sqwirl... but it can go hump a tree... but they're arent any !!!!!! lol

  • very good video :=)

  • They should make a whole movie based on this character! The production quality, sound track, and etc is is better then some of the stuff I've seen on cable.

  • Great video. That was my son the squirrel!

  • LOL that was pretty good!

  • nice video!!

  • I support environmentalist but you guys pls dont go over board...PLANT MORE TREES

  • I planted trees in my life and also saved a baby squirrel once from getting run over by cars because its mother died. This is what I learned: no matter how many trees or squirrels i save, with this many dumb people and drivers who can't park a car yet alone drive one, some day the squirrels are going to be extinct. Its not them its us we forget how precious nature is in our life's and someday we will miss it. We are already polluting our planet, this is why its called Global Warming.

  • This is good comedy. If you're trying to be serious, this is sadly absurd. Try finding out the truth. More trees exit now than a century ago in the US. And we continue to grow ever more. Get out of the godawful urban jungles, they are not reality. Nor do the people in them understand reality.

  • haha..... i look outside and i see that canada's got plenty of trees, i guess you can borrow some ..

  • It sad how they say that we cant stop global warming when common sense says that trees take our co2 and turn it into o2. Why doesn't the gov just plant trees instead of fighting and endless war?!?!?!

  • Don't be sad, little squirrel-dude! Come to SF, we're pretty much 1/3 tree!

  • gross hairball

    PLANT TREES!!!

  • aww poor squirrel

but lol "treeless will work for acorns"

    too cute

  • It's too bad that this video is true, in a way. without trees many woodland critters will die. And if these critters die, the predators that feed upon them will die as well. We have to stop mass de-forestation as soon as possible. Unfortunately for me, a 14 year old can't do too much. So I plead all of you in a position of power to do something big about this, and fast! I appreciate squirrels, and many other tree living creatures.

  • What a squirrel

  • Love this! Witty yet with a good message. Those of you who dont want their homes overrun by squirrels, go plant a tree today!

    RonanG

  • Celebrate Earth Day, April 22. Celebrate Arbor Day, April 25. Plant trees, please.

  • True! 5 Stars!

  • SAVE THE TREES. I hope that cute-as-hell squirrel can help get the message across!

  • Plant trees, please.

  • O:

i don't know if thats funny or sad!

  • poor squirrel

  • well done

  • Hey, thanks for creating this video! Trees suck up carbon, breathe out oxygen, they give us shade and food (plant some fruit trees too), they help with drainage. We could help balance out the climate by re-forestation! Trees keep things cool, give life, and bring life!!! Use sustainable bamboo, hemp, re-used materials and timber from certified sustainable growers only. We are part of nature, not above it, we need it to survive - can't eat our money when everything else is gone!

  • w00t, you say the truth

  • It's been said that the best time to plant a tree is twenty years ago, and the second best time is today.

Every day is a lovely day when plant trees. So make today, tomorrow, and the day after that ever more lovely.

    Plant trees, please.

  • buaaaaaaaaaah I just cut some trees and but I save the little squirrel living in it. Yesterday they finally left the tree I put them in.

  • Brilliant, loved it!

  • Lol.

  • how true ... but it was a bit funny :D

  • We are missing the point. We can stop cutting down trees for paper, and use hemp instead. A plant that springs up in months, instead of a tree that takes decades to grow. Just one more reason why hemp is illegal.

  • Great message.

  • Yeeuup!!..

  • Way to use a cardboard sign, TREE KILLER!

Just kidding. It's been stated before, but this is a great video. It's humorous, but carries a message that everyone needs to hear. Hopefully the masses can only ignore it for so long. More power to you, Mr. Squirrel.

  • Plant trees, Please!

  • En We need!

  • nice. i really enjoyed it and i like the message.

  • i think it was rly good according to what they meant by this vid ^^ rly good

  • Great stuff!

    nice message

  • Exceedingly well done video...great story line.

  • Huzzah

  • I really loved your message.

I learned in shcool how important for us are plants and i went with my teacher plant some trees, gave me much plasure, since then i already planted 5 pines, two in Germany and one in each country i visited in Europe Spain, Italy and France.

  • This a well thought out, funny, and well executed environmental message. Spot on. By the way, current growing four giant redwoods to do my part.

  • I really loved your message.

I learned in shcool how important for us are plants and i went with my teacher plant some trees, gave me much plasure. Since then i already planted 5 pines, two in Germany and one in each country i visited in Europe Spain, Italy and France.

  • Well done

  • Chicago.

  • aww i wish it was houston...lol

  • thats cutte

  • Fantastically fantastic! An important message. This is truly brilliant. Great choice of soundtrack too....

    Killer.

  • What a cute video!

  • Whoa, thats a really nice video, and an awsome, yet simple message. world could surely use more people like you.

  • Whether you know it or not, YOU ARE A GENIUS!!! Make more, they will catch on!!!

  • Wow. Treeless Squirrel is blushing. Thank you for such a wonderful compliment. Treeless Squirrel just hopes everyone will plant more trees. So, plant trees, please.

  • Come to Germany cutie pie.

  • very, very thoughtful

  • I think I need to plant a tree now! Or... get a squirrel suit. Thanks for the awesome vid

  • the problem is, getting rid of forests that all ready exist is more than just getting rid of trees. we kill all kinds of habitats and species along with it. planting more trees isn't going to create any new kind of species. it's a great idea. and i want people to do it. but it doesn't really do anything to solve any problem. i mean. am i wrong or what? tell me i'm wrong.

  • You're wrong. Trees make the CO2 into oxygen, and it's CO2 that's contibuting for the global warming.

  • Trees breath IN CO2 and give us oxygen ,....duhhh look it up budd

  • the trees make oxygen and the breath in Co2 they r helpin out look it up

  • you're partially wrong because i we were all to plant trees then that would create more oxygen and less carbon dioxide(which is what cause global warming).

  • "Suburbia is where they cut down all the trees, then name the streets after them"

  • squirrels are my friends.

  • lol.

  • lol.

  • I feel you brother! I really feel you!

  • I feel you brother! I feel you!

  • Nice Video.

    Love the costume.

  • this should be a commercial

    if it isnt already

  • hilarious and really great message! this should make more people really think about 'treelessness' than a bunch of statistics ever could.

  • I weep for the squirrel. He can come and hang out at my place if he likes.

  • Where do you live? I'm there. Let's plant a tree together.

  • Sweet,,,I have a foosball table, and an air hockey table so you won't get bored. And If you get hungry I always have a jar of Nutella in the cupboard....and to unwind at the end of the day a bottle of Frangelico Hazelnut Liquor.

  • You need only need a shovel and tree, brother!

Let's get busy making the world greener, healthier, and more beautiful by planting some trees. I'm partial to Oaks, Maples, and Gingkos.

We'll have plenty of time for air hockey after a bit of digging and planting. Besides, I'm fond of imagining a wonder in the woods. So let's plant one. ;-)

Nutella sound yummy, though. So does the Hazelnut concoction. Treeless Squirrel asks, plant trees, please. Have a great day.

  • I feel you brother! I feel you!

  • This is amazingly well done. *****

  • I'm not opposed to planting trees, mind you, but for the record most of the free oxygen in the air comes from plants (plankton) in the oceans, which are much more prolific than land plants. Ergo, oxygen isn't a tree issue. Cute video, though.

  • Yes, but they cool the world and bring joy to humans and squirrels.

  • When they get through polluting the seas and there isn't enough plankton, you'll see just how great a "tree-issue" this is. Ever wonder where all the ships that sail are dumping their toilets and refuse? Time is running out for the seas if they don't stop this kind of behavior.

  • yea thats true but a lot of animals are going extinct because our forests are being taken away

  • Too bad the oceans are getting reamed with refuse and plastic waste, not to mention all the chemicals that goes into water everywhere and eventually leaks into the oceans. So yeah, while this isn't just a tree issue, it wouldn't hurt to help out by planting trees now for when the ocean turns to muck.

  • lol plant trees. Nice costume!

  • Awe, I love it!!

  • poor squirrel!

  • cute!

  • kool i like the squirrel id give him a tree

  • we do need more oxygen then pollutioned air

  • it it was a red squirrel it would be perfect

  • Poor Squirrely had no tree to live in =,(

    Awesome vid XD

  • good job nice video i agree with you

  • In Sweden The growth is more than we take down ^^

so we are good guys :D

  • It's the same in the U.S.

  • that squirrel is not going in my house-___-

  • the people in Bulgaria say: Who never planted a tree, leaves nothing after his life!

(sry about my english ^^ )

  • Loved it. Nice work.

  • insane, but true

  • plant more trees!

  • This is a great way to promote planting more trees. I hope everything works out for the squirrel.

  • Lord knows metro Atlanta's been losing its canopy in recent years. . .

...but this is a fantastic way to evangelize, if you will. I laughed out loud XD and people normally don't want to be scared or depressed into doing things, so very nice work.

  • Loved it!!

Great Job and you are right we do need more trees.

  • good job

  • omg it was like a big happy bowle of nuts

  • AWSOME!

  • My home is surrounded by trees, and the squirrels drive me crazy! LOL Great vid!

  • Simple, yet powerful. If you are not moved by this video you have a heart of stone- whether you are a homo sapiens or a scurida.

  • Does saying homo sapien instead of human make you feel more like an intellectual?

I was amused by this video.. because its idiotic, does that count?

  • This makes me want to get that costume, and walk around my town with signs for the cause. Kinda a moot point since I live in AK, and we are surrounded by trees everywhere. Maybe if I moved back to DC. This hits home to me on another level bc I wasn't the best roommate once and got kicked out and homeless for a while. I love this video!

  • AWSOME!

  • Nice!

  • *squeezes the squirrel*

  • Where exactly are you asking people to plant trees? the only place really in need of action for planting are 3rd world countries where logging practices aren't regulated. As for the rest of us, there are laws that require all trees that are cut down to be replaced. I have personally planted 850,000 trees through clearcuts, areas affected by forest fires or other natural disasters, even provincial parks where trees had to be cut down due to pine beetle infection. It was my job for 5 years.

  • Thank you for planting so many trees!

  • This vid is about urban space, green linkage, in fact it's not even that complicated. thetreelesssquirrel just wants a tree or two to chill in.

Pine beetle infestation has nothing to do with anything. Planting for 5 'years' equals 4 months out of the year on average = 1.7 years.

  • Brilliant

  • Excellent video! It makes me want to plant a tree.

  • i feel your pain squirrel !

  • maybe the point is to plant more trees and stop deforestation. animals like these are killed/dislocated thanks to deforestation all the time.

  • nice one

  • This one needs to be on every commercial break on all national television stations.

    Great job.

  • Funny and informative. 5 stars!

  • that was sad. but SO cute! i thought the squirrel costume was really great! it looked like a squirrel and not one of those cartoon squirrels or whatever. 5 stars from me :)

  • neat

  • Good video!

  • i find it odd that the squirrel was holding a cardboard sign made from paper...paper=trees?

  • cool

  • aw. that was sad. poor squirrel.

  • i like the squirrel!

  • This film can be seriously misleading. If you do ever find yourself face-to-face with a wild squirrel avoid direct eye contact as they can sense fear. If you are attacked by a squirrel it is best to curl-up into a ball and remain still. The squirrel may try to cover you up, but it will leave you for dead and, most of all, alone and unhurt.

  • Poor giant squirrels =(

  • clever!

  • acorns everywhere!

  • I had a friend end up at my place like that, but he wanted to smoke trees. Didn't stay long either.

  • AWSOME!

  • oh those toenails!!! lol!

  • 5☆5☆5☆5☆5☆tars from: smi-ren-ger

  • *hugs the squirrel*

  • So Funny! Great Vid! hehe squirrels ROCK!! my fav animal ever!!! hehe PLANT TREES!!

  • I'm planting a tree right now, it's unfair to be homless and that's what this squirell is. Great vid I think this message is important.

  • This is a pretty funny video. Plant more trees! Squirrels will soon take over the world along with Hamsters!

  • Great Message....I am going to forward this to the Florida Department of Transportation. The FDOT has a complete and total disregard for the value of a TREE.

  • Funny moive I wonder if thats how it would be if you actually live with a giant sqirrel

  • funny video. Just a suggestion...Treeless squirrel would have a lot more trees if we legalized hemp. All those trees not needed for paper or fiberboard ever again...might even end up with old growth forests again someday.

  • Not to mention hemp can be used for SO many things, including alt fuel. But of course the government wasn't making enough money off it so now its illegal. Oil is more dangerous in so many other ways.

  • I don't see how that would help. Hemp is already legal for clothes and other stuff, just expensive compared. And if we legalized Marijuana, we'd still need trees for rolling paper :D

  • that kinda paper's not from trees, believe it or not its compostite. dead serious.

  • Amen!

  • I love the costume!

Not that there was one, of course... *shifty eyes*

  • This is such a great video. We need to understand that everything humans are doing to our planet actually WILL have repercussions, and they are happening RIGHT NOW. Thank you for making this video, and keep it up! The more we can do to help people understand how to help our planet, the better. peace!

  • True, but when it comes to Trees, the U.S. has already learned this.

  • don't just plant any tree though, plant a native tree to your region.

Native trees enhance the surrounding ecosystem, promoting local birds, insects, and squirrels.

  • I love it. Great camera work.

  • nice laptop

  • nobody tell the people in nyc that there are more trees than those in central park.

  • i personally like oxygen...

    great vid!

  • good music. love the video too.

  • Aww, I want to hug him and give him a tree.

  • i know

  • guerrilla tree planter here. spread the word.

  • AWESOME - poor squirrel I'll try my best!!!

  • hey theres trees in Kansas go there

  • A better ending would've been for the squirrel to get run over by a car.

  • it would be even better for you to get run over by a car

  • Excellent message.

  • Funny video, Good job!

  • lol xD

  • Yo that is funny and well directed!

  • great video :)

  • Yay! If the ground wasn't so frozen I'd plant one right now!

  • prety freaking funny acctualy

  • That's my couch! No seriously, it was shot at my apartment. Great video all the way around.

  • Thank you, Devin. Treeless Squirrel appreciates all you and Foundation did to help produce the video.

  • lol so cool

  • Quite awesome! B-)

    I'll do my part. :)

  • that was awesome

  • Good video.

  • WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL.
